Betty H2 months agoLocated off the 905 freeway. The Cross Border Xpress (CBX) is a pedestrian bridge linking San Diego directly to Tijuana International Airport. It has become super convenient for our family trips specifically to Mexico. They offer plenty of parking options depending on your needs, whether you are staying for a couple of hours or multiple days. You can even reserve your parking spot online ahead of time. If you just need to wait, there are free street/cell phone parking spots, but someone must remain in the vehicle. Just like a regular airport, you can also easily drop off or pick up travelers at the main entrance. The departure and arrival areas are conveniently located adjacent to each other. I love that the arrival side features plenty of eateries and even a Starbucks to grab a quick caffeine fix. Both the restrooms and the lobby are consistently clean, and the lobby offers plenty of seating. You'll also find scales to weight your luggage before checking in if needed. The area feels safe. Overall, we always have a great experience at CBX.
C Johnsona month agoSo, maybe I was dumb to think this, but I thought that this Express pathway was somehow connected to the San Diego Airport. It is not. Cross Border Express is about an hour drive, shuttle ride or a very expensive ride share trip away. After crossing the border all the ways one can, I'd have to say this is one of the more expensive ways. That said, going from MX to USA, it's likely the easiest, most streamlined way, outside of flying across the border.

Lee Childs6 months agoI travelled across the border from Tijuana to the US using CBX, and then turned around and re-entered Mexico to renew my visa while working toward residency. My experience using CBX exceeded my expectations. The process was easy and went smoothly with friendly and helpful staff at all points. Well done!
Richard Betancourt5 months agoVERY SIMPLE PROCESS. We enjoyed our experience this time, more than ever. This is our 4th pass through CBX. We arrived Sunday Morning at 900am. Easy in and no large crowds. We pre-purchased our CBX passes via Volaris airline when we purchased our tickets. Take your luggage with you and have your CBX and flight boarding passes in hand. They have $0 charge luggage carts you may use to stack your luggage for an easier walk. Process was easier than ever. We highly recommend it .....
