Carol Holland2 months agoI booked one of their many venues, The Eliot. It is like a New York Bar with brick floors and walls, an amazing, beautiful bar with hi-top tables and booths also. It was a perfect backdrop for my 80th Birthday party. The in-house catering was impressive, and the food was great. The service was Amazing and there was always a staff member available to help in any way. I would recommend any of their beautiful rooms for any event you might have. The owners Larry and Summer, and coordinator Emily were available always to assist with my needs whenever I called. The experience was perfect from start to finish!
John Mataa month agoEvent type: Daughter’s 18th birthday / Debut / Graduation Party Date: June 2026 Guests: 104 The Charleston was the perfect venue for our daughter’s debut — elegant, flexible, and incredibly supportive from the very beginning. It was actually the first venue we toured back in October, and it set the bar so high that nothing else came close. We visited several other places, but every time we walked out, we found ourselves saying, “It’s just not The Charleston.” One venue even tried to slash $3,000 off the price if we booked on the spot, which only made us feel uneasy. The Charleston, on the other hand, felt honest, professional, and genuinely invested in making our daughter’s night special. The ballroom itself is stunning — vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, uplighting, a full stage, LED screen, hardwood floors, bar areas, and a beautiful bridal suite. As parents, we wanted her debut to feel elevated and unforgettable, and this venue delivered in every way. A few standout details: • Planning Pod: Their floorplan tool made seating assignments incredibly easy. We could drag and drop guests into exact seats, which was a lifesaver for a debut with VIPs and a full court. The BEOs were clearly laid out too, keeping communication smooth for both our family and the venue team. • Early setup access: Starting at 11 AM gave everyone plenty of time to prepare without rushing. • DIY friendly decor: They allowed us to decorate the ballroom ourselves, and staff was supportive the entire time. They even set up tables for assembling flower arrangements. • Band + DJ compatibility: Zero technical issues all night. The elevator access made load in easy for everyone. (DJ Ramon Guzman: Highly recommend booking him. He served as both DJ and MC, ran the entire program flawlessly, and kept the energy flowing.) • Custom video loop: Our welcome video played throughout the night and added a beautiful personal touch. • Parlor/bridal suite: Debutante and her court used it all day for hair, makeup, wardrobe changes, and quiet breaks. • Professional staff: Every interaction — from load in to teardown — was organized, friendly, and efficient. Emily, John and crew were fantastic! • Food: We chose the Charleston Signature Buffet, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. Some even admitted they went back for seconds (or thirds!). • Guest experience: Parking, entrance flow, open bar, grazing table, buffet line, champagne toast, coffee service, cake cutting, and seating layout all felt polished and effortless. We didn’t hear a single negative comment. As parents, we just wanted our daughter’s debut to feel special, stress free, and unforgettable — and The Charleston delivered all of that and more. The night was beautiful, seamless, and everything we hoped it would be, and our daughter absolutely loved every moment of it. If you’re planning a debut, wedding, or milestone event, we highly recommend The Charleston. It’s the kind of venue that lets you actually enjoy the moment.

Shout out to our event coordinator Emily for keeping me sane and making our dream wedding come true. Our guests loved the food, the venue, the drinks, everything. I honestly cannot thank the staff at the Charleston enough. Also they work with vendors. Jennybflorals really did a beautiful job with the florals and decorations. I highly highly recommend booking this venue and working with their vendors to make your dream wedding come true.

We rented the Grand Ballroom, Jitterbug Bar and Foxtrot Lounge and it was a hit for our whole team.The onsite team was amazing. Emily and Summer were incredibly helpful with coordinating everything ahead of time, and John, the manager, was the absolute best on the day of the event. The space was perfect, the food was delicious and everything ran so smoothly thanks to their support. Our team has had nothing but high praises for one of the best company parties we have thrown and it truly is because of this venue and all they offer. Highly recommend The Charleston for any company event or celebration!
Harneet Kaur8 months agoFive stars truly does not do this team or the venue justice. They are absolutely incredible and hands-down were one of our best vendors for our wedding. We worked with the Charleston on two of our wedding events (pre-wedding party and reception) and used both the Petite Ballroom and the Grand Ballroom. Our rental of the Grand Ballroom packaged in the use of the Jitterbug bar, the Foxtrot lounge, and the Champagne Parlor, providing incredible value and a luxe experience all in the beautiful setting of this historic building in downtown Fullerton. The ballrooms are stunning - beautiful wood, chandeliers, and the entire floor is a dance floor to boot! The bar and lounges are gorgeous and thoughtfully designed so that guests have multiple spaces to explore and enjoy during the event. This venue is super cool and honestly, the best value you can get these days. I also cannot stress enough what a joy and comfort it was to work with Emily, Larry, Summer, and the whole team. Emily is extremely detail oriented, very organized, thoughtful, and flexible. Larry and Summer are very warm, kind, and super responsive to questions or requests. All of the supporting team, from bartenders to security to event staff were the utmost professionals and did not hesitate to go the extra mile during our events. We unfortunately had a few issues come up during our events (medical concerns for a guest, guests acting unruly) and the Charleston team did not hesitate to help my now-husband and me navigate these concerns (both in real time and post-event) while still enjoying our events. Truly truly cannot thank the Charleston team enough. What a beautiful venue and incredible team. If we have future events in the area, it'll be a slam dunk to book with you all!
