I will start off by saying that we have stayed here multiple times and planned on coming back a lot more. Safe to stay we will never be coming back here ever again. Out of all the hotels I have stayed at this by far has been the worst. 1. Check in time was 4. We arrived at 6:15 to check in- we go to the front desk and they say your room isn’t ready yet. AT 6:15! No phone call was made to us saying this nothing was said. Mind you we came here for a Cavs game and had 2 suitcases. 2. The “so called” assistant manager Olivia was whispering to the lady helping us and the lady helping us says we have a fitness center with locker rooms you can keep your stuff in and get ready in there. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. As we are pissed off the “assistant manager” didn’t say a word to us the whole time just kept whispering to the lady. HOW POOR of customer service. She needs to be cleaning the rooms and not a manager I can tell you that 2. The actual manager Amy did not contact us and no manager ever spoke to us when I wanted to speak to one. Instead they left us a note in our room with $150 off of our room and said how sorry she was blah blah. 3. So after the game we were late to and paid for floor seats we were late to the game because we couldn’t get ready in our actual room and after the game was over we then had to come back and go in the locker rooms and grab all of our stuff at 10 and finally put it in our room. WHICH IS INSANE. To sum all of this up for you I wouldn’t stay here if it was the last hotel in Cleveland available. The worst experience I have had with any customer service team and a hotel in my life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.
Arrival to departure was all 5 stars! The staff is " over the top" in kindness, courtesy and professionalism! The hotel itself is beautiful. We had a king Club Level room. The room was nicely appointed and spacious with a beautiful marble bathroom. The food and alcohol pairings were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel. We will absolutely return!
While we don't love the exact location of The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland, the ambiance & service never disappoints. A relaxing birthday getaway was perfect in every way. Upon our arrival we were greeted with kindness by the valet staff & the front desk offered bottled water & complimentary drinks at the bar. Entering our suite, I was surprised with a beautiful flower arrangement with one dozen long stemmed red roses. Our suite provided two full bathrooms which worked perfectly for each of us showering away our spa day & preparing for dinner in a timely manner. The living/dining room was comfortable and spacious with elegant touches throughout. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed with crisp, clean bedding, plush robes & slippers. Each bathroom provided shampoo, conditioner & body wash along with many toiletries. The draperies throughout the suite opened & closed with the touch of a button although not all of them worked. We had a view of the Cuyahoga River but I didn't take a picture because it was a stormy few days & there was nothing exciting to look at. It was actually quite dismal & depressing. We enjoyed dinner at Morton's Steakhouse which was a quick walk through the Tower City building. You never have to go outside from the hotel to the restaurant & back. It is only about a 60 second walk but we did not feel safe in the Tower City building. Upon returning to our suite, we were surprised with a bottle of sparkling wine, candies & chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberries were delicious & quite a culinary masterpiece with gold chocolate covered Pop Rocks sprinkled fully on one strawberry & across the tray. As always, the room service was top notch & provided everything you could want with your meal. Overall, it was a delightful respite with professional & courteous staff always ready to enhance your stay.
The ritz carlton is a delightful escape for travelers seeking a unique experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality was evident. The staff was attentive, ensuring my check-in was seamless. My room was beautifully decorated, featuring a mix of vintage and modern decor that created a cozy ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was equipped with luxurious toiletries. I enjoyed breakfast in the quaint dining area, where the selection included fresh pastries and locally sourced ingredients. The location is ideal, nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance to local attractions. The attention to detail and personalized service truly set The Charming Inn apart from larger hotels. It’s a perfect choice for anyone looking for a homey feel away from home.
Fantastic service with happy kind staff throughout the hotel. Modern up to date rooms. Fine linens and bathrooms. Exactly what is expected from the Ritz-Carlton. Stayed here 5 nights and it was 5/5 stars with an A+ rating. Nightly turn-down service is a treat.
