christina forbesa month agoMy husband and I recently stayed at The Mett in Singapore for 5 nights. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The location is so peaceful set in amongst beautiful Fort Canning Gardens and yet extremely central to all the major tourist sites. The historical Colonial building has been beautifully restored and styled beautifully. Very tasteful designed. The stand out for us was staff at The Mett, they could not be more hospitable, accommodating and friendly, going far beyond our expectations. Moritz Fischer3 months agoStaycation at The MET Singapore We recently stayed at The MET Singapore for a staycation and it exceeded expectations on every level. The location is a standout - right next to Fort Canning Park, which offers a rare mix of lush greenery and historical charm. It’s perfect for a morning walk or a relaxed stroll before heading back to the hotel. The hotel itself feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Being brand new, everything from the rooms to the common areas is in pristine condition. The rooms are beautifully done - stylish, comfortable, and clearly designed with attention to detail, making it easy to fully unwind. Dining is another highlight. The Italian restaurant, led by a Michelin-starred chef, delivers exceptional quality across the board. Every dish feels refined yet approachable. The breakfast buffet is equally impressive, with a wide selection and consistently high quality - easily one of the better hotel breakfasts in Singapore. Overall, this is a place that gets the fundamentals right while also delivering a premium experience. If you’re looking for a staycation that combines location, design, and excellent food, The MET Singapore is an easy recommendation.
K and Qa month agoWe had our wedding lunch reception at Mett’s Grand Ballroom on 20.06.2026 and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish with Michelle, Azli and Firdaus. To start, the venue, the ambience and location of Mett and the Grand Ballroom was unique and memorable with its conserved external architecture and internal finishes. We were very excited about our solemnisation at the Garden Terrace but, unfortunately, had to shift to the Junior Ballroom due to the bad weather. However, the hotel and its staff were all helpful and swiftly shifted the logistics to the Junior Ballroom to keep everything on schedule. Azli and Firdaus worked tirelessly to keep everything running and were very accommodative to our requests, including some very last minute ones like putting up additional photographs and displaying prizes on stage. While we didnt have time to eat everything during the lunch, it was great during food tasting and some guests reviewed that it was “one of the best”. Lastly, Michelle was our hotel POC helping to coordinate and organise the different hotel departments and our external vendor. She ran through the schedule with us and went the extra mile in helping to take certain tasks off our mind, even without asking. For instance, she received our JOP on her own accord, provided the JOP with (additional) parking coupons and ushered him to the solemnisation venue; the JOP felt so welcome and made the wedding so much smoother. Little things like this sprinkled throughout the day helped to make a very hectic day much smoother, less stressful and more memorable! 11/10 will recommend!!!
Lisa Peterson3 months agoMy husband and I stayed here in April for 6 nights. Overall our experience was pleasant, but not what we would rate as a 5 star hotel experience. This is our third time staying in Singapore, all previously at 5 star hotels (Conrad Hilton and Marina Bay Sands). We were attracted by the location of the hotel and the privacy given how it is located in Fort Canning. The ground facilities were beautiful and had a nice historic esthetic. We understood that it is recently changed ownership, so perhaps this was a soft launch for all of their service offerings. The benefits of this hotel is the location, the gym facilities, the location and general traffic, and the local food at the bar. Some of the drawbacks which we would be hesitant to return to the hotel are the overall customer service and service offerings. There needs to be more training or increased staffing for the front of house service team. On numerous occasions at various times of the day or evening we called the front desk and over 50% of the time the calls were unanswered. When we were able to get a hold of the front desk, sometimes they were helpful but other times they were unsure, or did not return our calls on the matters that needed to be addressed (ie. billings, service offering etc.). The ancillary service team members (ie. housekeeping, valet etc.) were very helpful and worked hard but it seemed like there was a somewhat disconnect on times and dates when certain things that were offered on the website would be available. Also, it is odd how there are no bathroom facilities dedicated to the pool area or indoor showers for the pool, which does not help if you arrive before check-in or need to leave late after check-out. Hopefully there will be improved in the future and perhaps when the new restaurant opens, improvements in these areas will be made. A
Sally Sophia5 months agoWe had our CNY dinner and it was amazing! Booking is easy and we had the pleasure to deal with Ms Michelle from sales. From pre booking till end of the event, shes doing extra miles, and checking all the details with us and even on the event site shes very flexible to help us with ourlast min changes (thank you again!!!) banquet team to help us do the turnover super fast, and good service, thanks to Firdaus, Azli, Rizuan! The CNY set was delicious and presentable, we also checked with our halal and vegan options attendees and they were satisfied. They serve plate by plate and all the servers were quite attentive. Thanks to the kitchen crew, Chef Jacky, Chef Hock Long, Chef Yew Meng, Chef Kah Huai. The AV system is super, the screen and sound from the speaker is perfect! just a suggestion to have a screen behind the stage will be great! Looking forward to host our next event with METT Singapore :) thanks again!
