  Absolutely adored our stay. Yolanda and Florian were so kind and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. The room itself was clean and beautifully taken care of. Great location to walk to dinner, breakfast or go on a romantic gondola ride. Could not have asked for a better stay for our anniversary. Dare I say, this will become a yearly tradition.

  I wish I had cancelled my reservation! I too booked a plaza view suite. They also put me in 101 a two-room suite adjoining my son's room 102. Both with a ground level view. Very dated and tight bedrooms, with long wait times for hot water in the shower and during the mornings you ran out of hot water. To make matters if the noise outside wasn't bad enough, the restaurant and lounge was RIGHT below you. The coffee maker made more coffee than the hotel provided mugs could hold..."fill to here". The entire hotel is dump! I moved my reservation to this hotel after the Marriot Residence Inn said ALL their elevators were broken. My name is Francis X.   We recently stayed here for two nights in Kansas City. The main issues were the bed comfort and the hot water. The beds were surprisingly uncomfortable, and my wife and I both slept poorly both nights. The hot water was also a problem. It took around 10 minutes to get even remotely warm, and it never really got properly hot. Beyond that, the room was clean and the staff seemed nice. Parking being included in our rate was also a nice perk. That said, the room felt pretty cramped, and it was quite loud because of the street noise. Overall, the stay was fine, but not what I would expect from a four-star property in this location. At this price point, I would expect better sleep quality and reliably hot water. Honestly, I think I probably would have slept better at a Holiday Inn Express.

  Reserved a room for Valentine’s Day. Specifically requested top floor with an extra large bathtub. Paid over $600 and was assured everything was noted. Confirmed reservation 2 weeks in advance just to walk into a room that a third of the size of my bedroom at home with a bathroom so small you had to close the door to get to the small bathtub. VERY heartbreaking for what was supposed to be a special event and because it was a holiday there was nothing else supposedly available. I was told by the receptionist that this was the smallest room in the hotel, and she was unsure of how this happened . She also verified that my notes were in the system . Then suddenly had an availability for a somewhat larger room but definitely not worth over $600…… We could have rented an Airbnb for much less, and been satisfied.
