  The hotel never cleaned our room or brought us new towels. No empty garbage or even when we asked for towels they never came. The bathroom was dirty and the 1st frig was not staying cool. The frig had a towel in it to prevent water damage. The good thing is the breakfast. The breakfast was hot. And the green hair front desk lady was very nice.

  We are Unable to shower. The plumbing is incorrect so unable to use both hot and cold at the same time to make a nice comfortable temp. It either has to be freezing ot scorching hot. The USB outlets in the room are not functional. And there is rust in the bath tub around the meal bits. The pool is not functioning and is the complete opposite of heated although it is described as heated In the advertisement. There is no out of order sign. It is dirty, and unclean, the filtration system is broken as well. In my opinion this hotel is NOT fit to stay in. A cheap motel that has a function bed and shower is a better/ safer location to stay due to the inability to preform personal hygiene.

  Whatever you do, avoid this hotel. Dirty rooms with dirty/used sheets that tried to make it look like the bed was made, dirty bathrooms, trash on the floor. This wasn’t just our experience but many other families who were there also experienced this. Lots of us had to ask for a refund and drive home at midnight or find another hotel late at night after our kids competed that day. What a mess! One person was working on probably one of their busiest weekends with having KS State Gymnastics there. No cleaning staff. Nothing. I’ve never seen a more poorly run place in my life.

  We were in our room for less than 8 hours, and I would have rathered slept in the car. We arrived to the hotel at almost 11pm, the first clue it was going to be a horrible experience should have been the luggage carts. All of the fabric was torn off, with threads just barely hanging on, it was dirty, and the wheels were so dirty you couldn't move the cart without some extra elbow grease to get the wheels to start spinning. The front desk was cluttered, dark, and not inviting in anyway. After just having come off of the highway for 5 hours, we were just ready to sleep. We rented a queen suite with a pullout bed for the kids. On our way to the room on the second floor, the sides of the carpet and the whole elevator was littered with trash and other various debris of types. The door to our room was painted over and you could see all of the wood chips and defects right through the paint. Once in the room, it didn't feel any better. The room was dark and the lighting was poor. There were two TVs in the one room, both having missing wall plates with wire fastened to the dry wall. The enamel in the toilet seat was torn and ripped, and when we went to pull out the pull out bed, there was no mattress! I called the front desk to ask for one and the front desk girl said she would contact maintenance. After 10 minutes had passed, I went to the front desk. I waited for 5 minutes at the front desk before having to knock and ask for help into the void. Suddenly the front desk girl comes from the behind the wall, where she was at the entire time I stood and waited, not even 6 feet from me. She was polite and I have no issues with the service expect for the very delayed and non sense of urgency to correct our problem. She was nice enough to find us a new room with a mattress in the couch and allowed us to move. We should have never moved. The new room we went into, the front door was wrapped and we had to use our body weight to open the door, the floors were dirtier than the room before, the mattress to pull out might has we'll have been a blanket as it was hardly an inch thick and deformed. The " clean sheets' had a hole and a dark stain in it. And under cushions appeared as if it has never been vacuumed. The queen bed was maybe 2 inches thick, with broken springs. Sitting in the bed actually made me sore. And don't even get me started on " sleeping" in the bed if you can call it that. It took us 3am to fall asleep because of how uncomfortable we were. The tvs channel didn't match what the tv channel said it was. The cables and power cords were fastened to the wall and dropping onto the floor. The bathroom shower was stained in black, the caulk around the walls was barely holding anything together, the paint was tearing from the drywall. It appeared as if this hotel was bought from a slumlord, and they replaced the mirrors and the curtains and called it a holiday inn. We enjoy most of our stays with Holiday Inn, but this experience alone gurentees I'll never stay at this particular holiday inn ever again. Our reimbursement for the trouble was " 1 free drink and 1 free snack" from the pantry with an inventory of Doritos, ramen, and diet coke. Those were our free options to make up for the horrible state of the hotel.

  Our beds are comfortable. Some of the outlets and lights did not work properly. The shower was good. The staff here is quite nice. The breakfast was OK. I would choose the cinnamon rolls. Check the apples, one of them was rotten. Looks like they’re working on updating it a little bit the decorations for Christmas were nice and the hallways were recently redone.
