  If you’re passing through town and expecting a nice IHG property, this is not it. If you’re on the road working, this is the spot. Lots of construction/ road crews stay here. Our shower was broken and super dirty, there was popcorn on the floor from the previous guest, and the microwave and some kitchen lighting were inoperable. It looks like someone tried to remodel the room, but perhaps they were the lowest bidder. For instance you have to open the fridge in order to open the cabinet under the sink, where the trash and soap is. Missing outlet plates. The wrong color of caulk used in the shower and just spread all over. It was really surprising since we stay at multiple IHG properties a year.

  The front desk guy was so nice. I gave 3 star because the room was musty and smoke smell. Im not sure why we were not given top floor i did requested as top floor away from the elevator on my app but was given next to the elevator on the first floor . They are doing renovations so breakfast was next to the other hotel. The breakfast was awesome. Also!! Another thing was as a diamond elite i thought there was a late check out i was told by the morning front desk girl that it was a 12pm?? I have late check out 230pm multiple time im not sure why they said 12pm🤷🏿‍♀️ but love kansas. Kind people

  Hotel is under renovations, but not disclosed prior to booking. Unable to get refund due to manager not being in until late at night. No hot breakfast on property, have to go to the Holiday Inn next door to get breakfast. The hotel was dirty. Dirty sock in hall. Elevator was dirty. Carpet needed vacuumed. NO lobby area. They converted an actual hotel room into their check in/ lobby area and there is junk everywhere. Not organized or neat at all. Room was HEAVILY SMOKED IN. SMELLED VERY VERY BAD. Not able to provide a different room. The bed was made with no blanket. Only had a sheet and the decorative topper. Worst hotel experience I've ever had and I've stayed at A LOT. I went to get a blanket from the make shift lobby at 3:30am and there as a man passed out or sleeping in a chair holding a very large bottle of partially gone Crown Royal Whiskey and the manager acted as if that was totally normal. Manger said she would "try to" comp our room but did not.

  I’ve been staying at this hotel for 6 years now - every month when I come to town. Their staff continues to amaze me. I don’t know how they find their people, but this kind of customer service is a thing of the past that we need to get back to. Always ready to help, always greeted with a smile, always down to earth professional. You might say it’s training, but I don’t think so. All of them are awesome in their own way. Britton, seems to be the newest addition to the family and another amazing hire! Well done Staybridge- Well done Britton!

  We booked this hotel online through IHG primarily because of the social hour. When we arrived it was under major construction. The employee, who was pleasant, expressed dismay that we had not received any notification regarding the construction and that the social hour was not available and breakfast was next door at the Holiday Inn Express. He then offered us a smoking room-which was all they had available. I didn't even know hotels still had smoking rooms. We refused and he then booked us at the Holiday Inn Express. We double checked the website where it very clearly states there is a social hour and makes no mention of smoking rooms. If we had known either one of those we never would have booked this hotel. My recommendation is update the website, at a minimum. Management needs to contact every person who has a reservation, regardless of if it was made through IHG or directly with the hotel to inform them of the changes as well. VERY disappointed.
