We just arrived back home to the U.S. after spending 4 days at the Laurus. We were blown away with the service, accommodations, the food and how extremely well the entire hotel is kept. Emmanuel (food and service manager) pulled some strings to allow us to have the welcome cake as requested days after our arrival. It was so delicious we needed another one while there. Prince and Davie welcomed us on the first day and gave us a tour of the facilities and how everything worked in our rooms. The even arranged reservations at the restaurant for us. The food was delicious! The breakfast buffet had EVERYTHING we wanted. Sentosa is an island in Singapore that has everything you need within walking distance. A casino, shopping mall, universal studios, the beautiful Oceanarium that's a must see. You will not be disappointed staying here. Sylvia makes the best drinks at the bar as well
I wanted to give this hotel a 5 star review but there were several inconveniences that ruined what was otherwise an excellent experience. The air conditioning in the room is very temperamental. It would reset itself to 26 degrees at random intervals and I had to get up multiple times every night to change the temperature because the room was so hot. Someone came to look into it on two occasions and they seemed to think there wasn’t an issue. My wife and I also had 4 mistakes with our order during breakfast one morning. When we checked out of the hotel we were told our car to the airport was ready. Apparently, that specifically just means the car. Nobody checked that our luggage was actually in the car before we left and we had to return to the hotel, after we were already on our way to the airport, to collect it after confirming with the driver that our luggage was in the boot (which it wasn’t). One of the best things about the hotel is that it definitely doesn’t feel crowded. Especially in the pool. On two occasions we had the main pool area all to ourselves in the middle of the day. The staff are also very polite and friendly. The location is perfect. It's very close to shopping, restaurants and other attractions on Sentosa. It’s just a shame about these various issues that should be addressed which would have made it a perfect stay.
Stayed here in May 2026 for 2 nights. The Laurus is a very new hotel. Part of The Luxury Collection in Marriott. So was able to clock the stay and receive the benefits of being a Marriott Bonvoy member. Booked this through the AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts program, and apart from the USD100 property credits, there is a deal that includes S$200 Resorts World Sentosa gift vouchers per night that can be used at several establishments within the resort. Eventually I used the gift vouchers at the newest hotpot restaurant QUAN (which serves very good quality hotpot by the way).
We do staycations in Singapore few times per year and decided to check out Laurus Hotel since we usually do the W Sentosa, As a Marriott Platinum member we received early check-in and late check-out (which was so nice for staycations!), a lovely upgrade, and enjoyed an excellent birthday cake that the hotel surprised us with along with a nice handwritten card (thank you!). The service from all the staff on property was outstanding. At Laurus Table, the food was phenomenal (my wife and I immediately agreed that we would be coming back to have dinner here many more times). Melissa, Nick, Sylvia, Micah, Grace (hostess/greeter), and everyone else who served us were very professional and smiled throughout. The Premier King Suite room is extremely nice with a nice view (water side). It is very spacious with a full walk-in closet, Dyson dryer, automatic curtains, and nice living/dining separate room area. The bathtub along with the bath salts was very relaxing and nice. Everything is new/high-tech. This is a great, quiet property for families as well given its amenities and proximity to all the attractions, restaurants, and retail. For us we didn’t eat outside and enjoy just fully exploring all the options on property during our staycations. We are expecting a baby girl soon and plan to come back here!
An absolute gem where a paradise of calm and tranquility rises on Sentosa, and The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, captures that feeling with remarkable ease. From the first step inside, the world quiets. The staff radiates a warmth rare even in Singapore, and that sincerity transforms the stay into something that feels personal. It felt like our own private oasis, hidden inside one of the busiest integrated resorts in Asia. The Laurus carries a sense of emotional stillness. Light reflects off polished black and white marble floors. A stained glass window anchors the corridor with a soft glow that shifts across the hallway like a living piece of art. The lobby opens into a soaring space crowned by a sculptural chandelier that resembles drifting laurel leaves. Every part of the design invites breathing room. I recommend this ......
