Matthew Le4 months agoI had such a great experience at the Hyatt Hotel here, specifically because I wanted to order a drink for myself at the Placery in the front lobby and Alondra, the sales manager provided such an exceptional service when helping me get a drink. She was very respectful and welcoming and even went out of her to get my drink taken care of. She even offered my drink at no charge which made my expereince being there feel so personal. That small moment will remain with me for a little while because her service was great!
Jacob Anselmi4 weeks agoGreat stay! Have an event on campus so this was the perfect location making tomorrow’s travel time literally a few minutes. The builders who made this place knew what they were doing cause my room was perfect! Kudos Crossland Construction. Highly recommended if needing a clean, friendly staff and great location stay in the Wichita area.
Rev 20:104 months agoStayed here twice. The first time it was great. The second time… meh. Checked in just fine.. when son pulled out the bed from the couch, there were fake eyelash parts & crusty boogers on the sheet at the foot of the mattress. Upon further inspection the sheet was dirty in other spots. Went to the front desk & they were great & promptly switched us to another room. This morning whilst eating breakfast, son pulled out 3 hairs from his eggs. The person manning the food was not present, so I went to the guy running the front desk & said “I thought you might want to know there are hairs in the eggs.” His response was “I didn’t make them.” I said “I thought you’d want to know before someone gets upset.” He got up & went into the dining room, but I didn’t stick around to find out what happened. Little things & mistakes happen & the night crew was great about it. The response from the guy in the morning was sad & disheartening. I chose this hotel & paid extra to be on WSU’s campus, but next time, I’ll probably save the money & go somewhere else. Too bad.
Chris Roysa month agoFirst of all, the staff were pleasant people, and had no problem with them. The gym to appears be nice and spacious, although we didn’t use it (in a moment you will find out why). Our tub did not drain properly, resulting in standing in a pool of water almost ankle deep that took at least four minutes to drain. this prevented us from showering as we did not want to have to take an extended shower that would result in our ankles, being covered in water from someone else’s hair or other substance. The room was quite large, but we didn’t seem to need this much space. Honestly, the biggest issue was the bathroom tub not draining properly. The bed was quite uncomfortable, felt very cheap and saggy and additionally had abnormal staining on the side. The amenities for a downstairs bar were nice to have. Overall probably wouldn’t stay here again, but not the worst place I’ve been either.
Wil Q3 months agoDrain pan in the shower sounds like a trash can lid constantly closing after you get done and listen to the shower head drip on it for 2 hours. Had to put a towel on top of it so I could to go sleep. Unit had a nice furnace unit instead of a window mini split. Although was just as loud everytime it turned on. Overall meets expectations for the Hyatt price point and typical hotel experience.
