JR2 weeks agoThe location is incredible. It is very close to everything, but not so close it's loud outside the room at night. You need a pass to even drive up to it, which is nice to improve safety. The room was very spacious, especially for Europe. The bed is also very comfortable. The bathroom was tinythough. The lobby is nice to hang out in, and you can smoke cigarettes in the courtyard. The front desk is fine, but I would have expected better communication. The front desk was nice, but not great. The F&B people are all very nice. Each floor has a filtered water fountain, so they give you a glass water bottle you can get your own water. It is a nice feature. I'd stay here again.
John Buckley3 weeks agoWe stayed in Brussels for a night during our European honeymoon. The Dominican was one of the best hotels we stayed at. Great location, very nice accommodations, and an incredibly friendly/helpful staff. Our room was nice with a well-stocked free minibar. Oh, and there's free cold water everywhere, which definitely wasn't the case for most of our trip. Highly recommended!
Nihal Etula2 weeks agoHotel has a special vibe as decoration. I really loved it. Only, even though I know the story of the building, it was very strange that there were church songs in the elevators and the toilets. Receptionist was not nice, did not explain anything before I asked altough she was much more polite and explanatory to the guests before me. Eventually I got tired of asking for info as breakfast etc. so much that I did not even ask for WiFi. I loved the room. Design, lighting… Fell in love with cushions. Housekeeping was OK and not OK. They did not replace my toilet paper. The second night, I was out of it. Bar, together with the staff was marvelous. I would really thank them for everything
Erin Millichap7 months agoLovely hotel! The bed was super comfy and the rooms were very clean. For the ladies, they have Dyson hair dryers which is really nice. Our rooms were really quiet and the front desk super helpful. Definitely suggest the breakfast buffet in the morning, you are also able to order off a separate menu. The location was also great to get to the train stations and also site seeing.
Ralon Boyd2 months agoI usually don't leave reviews, but I must say, this hotel was AMAZING! A 10/10, A+++! This was I was thoroughly impressed! I chose to stay here because the photos on the Marriott app looked really nice and I read reviews and people repeatedly said it was clean which is a top priority for me. Everything was accurate, but it was so much more! First, the location: perfect: right next to Grand Place Square. Besides being impeccably clean, it was beautiful--the building is very well maintained. The hotel has a subtle clean, essential oils-like scent in the hallways--similar to what you experience in a resort. There was no dust or dirt in sight in the corners of the floors or walls nor was there any mold anywhere in the bathroom. (I travel across the U.S. for work. I stay in hotels weekly and I notice everything). The carpet was perfectly clean. The room was beautiful and had a complimentary mini-bar with my favorite snacks. The walls are thick so my room was quiet--I slept in and heard zero noise. The bed was extremely comfortable. I went to the gym two days. It is also very clean. There is a sauna, weights, treadmills--everything I need for my workout. They even have fruit to snack on in there :)! Lastly, all of their staff members were so hospitable, humble, and friendly! Bravo to hotel management! As an example: Gilberto and Rochdi were very attentive. They helped me find good restaurants. I asked if they had any tape to securely pack of my souvenirs and Rochdi even went hunting for some for me in the building for about 10 minutes (He didn't have to do that!). Such great customer service! My stay was worth every penny! I will stay here again and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! If you stay here you will be glad you did.
