B Hoppenfeld3 weeks agoFinding the hotel and getting help with our car and luggage was a bit weird. The hotel entrance is poorly marked and has no doorman. The front desk is located up an escalator and there is no lobby or entrance. We stayed in the Audrey Hepburn suite which was nice and roomy, though spartan in terms of amenities. Air conditioning never got the room cool though it wasn’t hot. The courtyard view was a bit loud but it was Hazz festival weekend, so that’s understandable. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not exceptional. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The clientele and attitude was more on the level of a holiday inn express or budget Marriott and honestly I expected a bit more, slightly disappointed at every turn. I don’t consider this a luxury hotel when compared with others I stayed at in Europe.
Louise Tennant3 months agoWe really enjoyed the peacefulness and decor of the room. There was no noise at all, the rooms are nicely furnished and the bathroom well put together with decent complimentary toiletries to make the stay more comfortable. We had dinner one of the nights and although the menu is not comprehensive, the food was well cooked and delicious. We also had a very well made cocktail, with my partner particularly enjoying the dry vodka martini. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a very relaxing experience overall. It was also a good area, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of grand place with some lovely cafes within walking distance, but close enough to take a trip there
super star2 weeks agoExcellent location with worst room structures! First finding it is not that east and have to drag all luggage upstairs once u get down the taxi. Not a star hotel range at all. Then room with 3 beds very tight space and when u have 3 people room at least the rest room doors should be perfectly closable which is not. Overall not amex range hotel other than location.
Vaibhav Pattania month agoThe rooms were good and spacious. There isn't anything very luxurious feeling around this hotel. The prices were decent and its in a safer area of brussels , though people do approach you for money right outside of hotel. Breakfast was okay. The staff is friendly and they will make your stay comfortable. AC doesnt work or doesnt go below a temp, which is truly a pain. The hotel itself is a very family friendly and great for hosting conferences surely.
R Pa month agoIncredible hotel. Very comfortable and beautiful. Staff are fantastic, very kind, warm and nice — always smiling. Breakfast was good quality. Location was excellent — nice high end neighborhood and close to a metro stop, about a 15min walk to the old town.
