Warren Camilleri2 months agoGreat spot for FOSDEM and Open Source Week Stayed here for Open Source Week and FOSDEM, and the location couldn't have been better. It’s an easy walk to the European Parliament, the university, and pretty much all the main FOSDEM hangouts and meetups around town. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help out with info. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, the continental breakfast buffet had a great spread to start the day, and the hotel restaurants were actually decent for a convenient bite. Definitely a solid choice if you're in Brussels for a conference or just exploring. Would stay again!
Michelle Larsen2 months agoUpon arrival the room was not ready. Staff were nice and apologized. We were immediately upgraded to a lovely Junior Suite and offered a drink certificate for the roof top bar. Very good location near bars and restaurants. Walking distance to main squares. Busy area so you could hear street noise with the windows open. Bed was comfortable and nice bath-shower. It was older but felt clean and fresh 💚
Q寶3 months agoI stayed at this hotel for four days and three nights. The location is very convenient and made getting around easy. However, it can still be quite noisy late at night, so guests who prefer a quiet environment should take this into consideration. Additionally, bottled water was only provided on the first day of my stay. I confirmed this with the front desk, and it seems this is their standard policy. Considering that the room rate remains the same each day, I find it difficult to understand why this is only offered once. I hope the hotel can improve this aspect. Aside from these points, everything else went smoothly.
Jonathan Sturma month agoAwful. If you like staying at a noisy hotel, with old rooms and bathrooms that are dangerous...while being treated rudely....this is the hotel for you. Bathrooms have a narrow tub/shower...so you have to balance yourself on the curved part of the tub...duck to get under the spray and deal with very low water pressure. To get out of the tub is also fun....so high up that slip and fall is very likely. However, all of this pales in comparison to the rude treatment and incompetence of the staff. Even when you ask for the manager after having an issue that is not resolved, the manager refuses to make themselves available and you are told to speak with the person who has already demonstrated that they dont care about your issue. You will literally have a better experience at ANY other hotel in the area.
Clive Whitea month agoSuperb location for the Grand Place and central Brussels. Very helpful and attentive staff, it feels like they genuinely care about you as a guest. Room was excellent. Very good buffet breakfast. Rooftop bar adds something a bit different.
