Theodor Kalderis3 months agoGreat stay in a beautiful historic hotel. I especially want to thank Mr. Hafez at the reception for his warm welcome and kindness. I really loved the interior and the design. The hotel is also very well located in the Avenue Louise area, one of the most elegant parts of Brussels. Highly recommended !
David Kwartlera month agoThis is the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed at, and I highly recommend booking it through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts program. The front desk accommodated an early check-in at 10:30 AM, provided a room upgrade, and the exceptionally helpful staff personally escorted me to the room to explain the layout. The room featured a very comfortable bed and a complimentary minibar stocked with champagne and soda, along with a free box of chocolates. During the stay, I utilized the well-equipped gym and the spa facilities, which included a great sauna and jacuzzi. I also spent the 85 euro property credit at the bar on some whiskey. The hotel's location is ideal for getting around since it sits close to the city center and right near the tram station. You do notice some tram noise at night, but it did not bother me.
Murtuza Mukadam5 months agoWe had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher’s Brussels and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is absolutely fantastic, perfectly placed for exploring the city while still feeling calm and refined. The rooms are impressively spacious, which immediately makes the stay feel comfortable and relaxed. The bathroom in particular stood out. It felt truly luxurious, with high-quality finishes and a sense of elegance that elevated the entire experience. What really made our stay memorable, though, was the exceptional service at the front desk. The team was consistently welcoming and professional, and a special mention goes to Blanca, who patiently helped us with numerous questions and recommendations. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for and well looked after. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, luxury, and service. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit to Brussels.
leonard kipkemoi2 months agoA truly luxurious stay with exceptional standards across the board. The Concierge Team—especially Patrick—was incredibly attentive. At one point I even had to ask them to ease up a little, but their response said it all: every guest on the premises is highly valued. That level of care really reflects their commitment to personalized service. Dining at Loui Restaurant was a truly memorable experience. The service was amazing from start to finish, and Karima made us feel completely at home—warm and professional, striking the perfect balance and truly elevating the entire dining experience. Breakfast at Café Wiltcher’s was equally impressive. The extensive buffet offers a refined selection of fresh, high-quality options in a bright and elegant setting—the perfect way to fuel up and face a fully packed day in Brussels. Naveen Bhadauria4 months agoOur stay at Hotel Steigenberger Wiltcher’s in Brussels was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had anywhere in the world. The service throughout was shockingly poor. Staff frequently came across as dismissive and, at times, openly arrogant rather than welcoming or helpful. For a hotel charging substantial rates, the level of hospitality was far below expectations. Breakfast was particularly frustrating. On multiple mornings, staff were reluctant to serve oat lattes and at times implied they were not serving hot drinks at all. Even when requests were accepted, we often had to ask two or three times before anyone would actually act on it. Something as simple as ordering a coffee became unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. On one evening, we requested cutlery to our room. We had to call three separate times, and it took over an hour for the cutlery to arrive. This is completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one positioning itself as a luxury establishment. When you are paying premium prices, you expect at the very least professionalism, efficiency, and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short on all counts. We left feeling frustrated and deeply disappointed, and we would not consider returning.
