Do not touch the mini bar! This is where you will feel nickel and dimed to death! Do not even touch the mini bar because it is automatic, and you will be charged if anything is moved, and you’re even charged even if you simply want to use the refrigerator in your room. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful hotel, beautiful lobby, beautiful bar, lovely rooms. They are happy to explain to you that an external company manages the mini bar. Friendly staff, and if you need ice, don’t worry, they will give it to you at the bar, but there’s absolutely no ice near the rooms, despite the old signs.
Disappointing experience. We went during the Christmas period. The hotel had a lovely Christmas tree as you walk in which made it feel very festive. The best thing about the hotel is the location- walking distance to everything. There's a lovely food market (Wolf market) directly opposite the hotel. Unfortunately for the price, the hotel itself was very disappointing. The cleanliness could have been better. Extortionate prices for the mini bar. Tea and coffee - very stingy with this. We asked for enough toothbrushes for our family of 4 but didn't get this. There was mould around the bath and the shower attachment was flimsy - felt like it would break. Hotel staff gave conflicting answers when asked about the "complimentary late check-out".
We have stayed at the Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels several times, and our experiences have consistently been positive. On our most recent stay, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The service throughout the hotel was good and attentive. The only drawback is that rooms facing the street can be affected by outside noise; rooms overlooking the atrium are noticeably quieter and preferable for light sleepers. Parking facilities are convenient, which is a real advantage in the city center. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Brussels, with major sights within easy walking distance. Breakfast offers a good variety of choices and is a solid way to start the day. Overall, a reliable and well-located hotel that we are happy to return to.
Radisson Collection Hotel, Grand Place Brussels is in a fantastic location, very close to Grand Place and other tourist spots. The rooms are clean and modern, but a bit small and not as comfortable as I expected. The staff were not very friendly, and considering the high price, I expected at least a small welcome treat, but there was none. The minibar was very expensive just a few snacks cost a lot. Overall, the hotel is a decent option for its location and cleanliness, but the service and value for money did not fully meet expectations. If location is your priority, it’s acceptable, but those expecting higher standards might be disappointed.
The location and aesthetics are truly on point—being so close to the central station makes it incredibly convenient, and the overall design of the hotel is stylish and inviting. However, the smaller details could be much, much better. Attention to these finer touches would significantly elevate the overall experience and bring it in line with the otherwise high standard the hotel presents.
