My overall impression was extremely positive. The hotel’s greatest advantage is its fantastic location — just a few minutes’ walk from Grand Place and all the main attractions, as well as numerous restaurants and shops, making everything easily accessible on foot. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with very cozy beds. The breakfast is varied and high quality, offering a great start to the day. The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive. The hotel is modern and truly reflects the high standards you would expect from Marriott. All in all, an excellent choice for staying in Brussels — especially if location and comfort are your top priorities.
The Marriott Hotel Grand Place Brussels offers a truly memorable stay in the heart of the city, combining comfort, convenience, and attentive service in a way that consistently leaves a positive impression. From the moment you arrive, the location stands out as one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. Situated just steps from the iconic Grand Place, it places you within walking distance of Brussels’ most charming streets, historic architecture, bustling cafés, and vibrant cultural attractions. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, having everything so close adds tremendous value to the overall experience. The rooms are lovely, featuring a thoughtful blend of modern amenities and warm décor that creates a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring. Beds are comfortable, soundproofing is excellent, and the spaces feel well cared for. Many rooms also offer welcoming touches such as quality linens, generous storage, and spotless bathrooms, contributing to a sense of quality you’d expect from a Marriott property. Service throughout the hotel is friendly and professional. Staff members are quick to assist, whether you need local recommendations, help with transportation, or simply a smooth check-in. The lobby and common areas maintain a refined yet inviting ambiance, making them pleasant places to unwind or plan your day. One point worth noting is the car park, which, although secure and conveniently located, is on the expensive side at 40 euros per night. Guests driving into the city may want to factor this into their budget. Overall, the Marriott Hotel Grand Place Brussels provides an excellent stay marked by comfort, style, and unbeatable proximity to the city’s highlights.
Clean rooms, well located and god breakfast (though dinner is not served). The hotel itself is GOOD. The car park is BAD - a one-way entry-system means you will at least once end up having to reverse downwards - and it is very narrow. Also, the EV Chargers require subscription so an unknown brand so don’t rely on this car park for EV charging.
Unfortunately, I found myself in the same situation for the second time, hoping the experience would be better this time. However, the check-in process, the treatment, and the overall welcome were extremely disappointing. It is frustrating to repeatedly experience this level of dissatisfaction. As a family member of a Bonvoy member, I expected a much higher standard of hospitality and service. We have stayed at many Bonvoy hotels in different locations and have always received excellent treatment. Unfortunately, this particular hotel is the only one where we have faced such disappointment. I am truly disappointed by what this hotel and its management are offering. This situation needs to be addressed, improved, and properly monitored to ensure guests receive the level of service they expect.
Located in Central Brussels. Only a 10-15 walk and two train stops afrom Brussels airport. Cost is about 26 euros for the train. The staff at this hotel was super friendly and professional. I was able to check in early after my red eye flight from Ivory Coast. The rooms are super clean and the bed and pillow are very comfortable. They provide a glass water bottle for you to use a water refilling station is locates on every floor near room 30 of each floor. Pump station for body, shampoo, and conditioner at the shower and hand soap and body cream pump stations above the sink. For ladies andgentlemaen they have a magnifying face mirror great for shaving or applying make up.
