Garry Skaggs7 months agoThis Holiday Inn never disappoints. We stay here every time we come to Nashville, and it’s consistently a great experience. The free parking is a huge perk, and the layout of the lot makes it easy to get in and out. I didn’t catch the name of the shuttle driver, but he was fantastic—friendly, prompt, and helpful. Housekeeping deserves credit as well; our room has always been spotless on every visit. A big shout-out to Shinia at the front desk—she is truly the sweetest. Always smiling, always helpful, and she makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Breakfast was great, though I wouldn’t complain if gravy showed up next to those biscuits! Alora does an outstanding job keeping everything stocked and tidy. She doesn’t let a dirty plate sit in front of you for more than a moment—she’s on top of it. More guests should tip her, because she works hard and her kindness and conversation truly made our morning. We made sure to show our appreciation. Already looking forward to our next stay in late November!
Squidlyladyvet3 months agoThe place seems nice on the first floor. Breakfast was great. Elora ( hostess for breakfast) has great customer service and is very welcoming which I enjoyed. Reve, the shuttle driver, very nice and helped us on and off the shuttle. The rooms were ok but didn't look thoroughly clean. We were there 4 days and didn't get any housekeeping services no matter how many times we asked. We contacted the front desk as well, still no service. We had to go get our own clean towels. The housekeeper seemed bothered because we asked for the trash to be taken out. We spotted her in a corner on her phone. The bar area was nice. There 3 different bartenders there during the duration of our stay. All 3 of them were superb with drinks and engaging with the customers. Jordan, Justin, and I think her name was Shasta. The hotel wasn't bad but I just was a little put off about the whole housekeeping not attending to our room. It was clean since I bring my clorox wipes amd lysol but it would be nice for fresh towels and some clean sheets as we requested.
Ishita Paste5 months agoWe had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. There is a bar downstairs I can’t recall the bartender’s name, but he was extremely sweet and made sure we were comfortable. One of the biggest perks of this hotel is the free shuttle service to Broadway Street, which was very convenient and saved us a lot of time and effort. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and thoughtful amenities.
Nay W2 months agoMy two stars are because the night we arrived there were a few ants on the bathroom floor. I didn’t complain because I thought it wasn’t that big of a deal. The next day I noticed a few more on the bathroom countertops. The final night, there was thousands of them on the nightstand in between the beds so I complained. The receptionist switched us to a room right next door which I was thankful for but I did see 1 ant on the new room’s bathroom floor. She also gave us complimentary breakfast for the next day. They need to fix this issue. Other than that, I liked the free shuttle service. I didn’t get in the pool but when I went to look at it, it was empty. The location was convenient as well, all my car share rides were under $10 for where I wanted to go from the hotel. My room on the 8th floor had a good city view.
Kenley Obendorfer4 months agoI wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless it were an emergency. There’s no way it has an overall 4.0 review or higher unless these were paid reviews or bots. The water pressure was almost nonexistent. The water itself would only get lukewarm and after 2 minutes would automatically turn cold every single time, no matter what time of day. Only 1 elevator was working so it took way too long just to get up to our room waiting in a line to use it. The TV doesn’t work. No casting, no apps, and spotty channels. We weren’t the only ones having issues with the TV. ADD $25 ONTO YOUR NIGHTLY RATE BECAUSE YOU’LL BE PAYING $25/NIGHT JUST TO PARK YOUR CAR THERE AS A GUEST. BREAKFAST IS $12.25/person PER MORNING and the selection is VERY slim. The food probably comes frozen with high sodium and cholesterol. It smelled like weed and cigarettes for the 2 days we were there. We’d had enough. This hotel was so bad and not worth the cost that we had to leave and find another hotel. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
