  Disappointing stay. In the beginning, I received a WhatsApp scam message asking for payment, and the scammer somehow had all my booking details; my name, reservation number, hotel info, etc. I emailed the hotel immediately and got no response. When I mentioned it at reception, they casually said this had already happened before and told me to “just not click or pay anything.” If this is a known issue, the hotel should take it much more seriously. Housekeeping was also poor. I left the “please clean room” sign before going on a full-day tour to Ghent and Bruges, came back at night, and the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. Reception then told me I also needed to request cleaning directly at reception because of “new regulations.” Then what’s the point of the sign? The shower had very low water pressure and the hot water was not so hot. WiFi signal in the room was also very weak, often only one bar or disconnecting completely. The room itself was okay, small but the bed was comfortable. However, no slippers were provided, which is something I would normally expect from a 4-star hotel, especially with carpeted floors. Breakfast was underwhelming too. Limited options, not very tasty, and they didn’t even have lemon for tea. I also checked out at 4AM for a flight and got a breakfast-to-go bag that was dry granola, with no yoghurt, milk, water, or juice (lucky got one apple, banana, and small waffles). For the price, there are definitely much better hotels around Brussels. Would not stay here again.

  Ultimate location, right next to food and Carrefour, plus a short walk to grand place or the Brussels central. Felt safe, even late at night - great spot during the jazz festival. Breakfast is solid, cheese, meat, bread as well as a few pastries. On request they would prepare hot gluten free bread rolls which are great if you have an allergy. Staff are friendly and held our bags after check out. Bathroom was clean and nice. The only negatives were that the room got quite hot when the weather hit 30C (it was fine the other days), and the carpets had a few marks.

  Great location with easy access to all the highlights. Sergey was very helpful. We did have one issue with our rooms which was reported twice (neither time to Sergey). Our dead bolt did not work. The staff advised they would look into it but I heard nothing back either time. There was an apparatus on the door to try to prevent it from opening fully but that isn’t a replacement for a dead bolt. And if they thought it was, they should have advised so instead of us thinking that they were going to repair it. Security isn’t something that can be slacked on.

  Very good. Location very close to city centre but on a side street, so quieter & less busy straight on the street. Reception & staff consistently friendly, efficient & helpful. Room & en suite good. Some rooms have added space with a small divider wall, which effectively makes a 'living room' separate from the bedroom. Varied buffet breakfast with plentiful seating in a well lit spacious room. Bar etc. Easy & pleasent stay.

  I am not blaming the staff cause they are doing things under orders but this was not a good experience. 1. Couldn't check in early because the system was down and they had no idea if our rooms were ready so told us to wait till 3pm. Waited till 4pm but system was still down but they had no excuse to delay check in any further so they manually took us to our room which had already been assigned but they wanted to avoid the manual check in and hoping the system would be up and running. Still no room key card so had to ask a hotel staff to come up with me to take me to my room 2. In my room, I found the corner where the desk is to be semi flooded at the carpet area cause I walked on it and suddenly my socks were drenched. Despite so much time given to turnover the room, clearly housekeeping did a slip shot job if they could not detect a totally drenched carpet area while vacuuming (assuming they should). Told the reception to manage it and they put about 12 towels on the carpet to absorb the water but that whole section needed to be avoided. It is still damp on the second night. 3. Could not release the water from the basin in the bathroom so had to get maintenance to come in. It was fixed by the time I came back to the room. 4. Water pressure at the shower was bad. It was like a leaking fawcett so tried to shift the nozzle to the concentrated spray My 2 cents worth. Not sure if this is an isolated incident but I have already informed the front desk of these issues. Update: They charged me and my friend separately for the same room. Despite I already told them I had already paid directly upon check in, but they still said we owed them. So my friend paid it and now I have a charge and she has a charge to her credit card. I will amend my thoughts on the staff, they are really a disappointment
