The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms were nice, and overall the property made a good impression. However, the customer service experience could have been better. The front desk staff, specifically Heather, could have been a bit more understanding during our check-in. The Hilton app showed parking as $26, the sign in the parking garage said $34, and when we asked about it at the front desk we were told it was $30. I mentioned that it’s a bit confusing, showed the young lady a screenshot from the app. I asked my wife to come over since it was booked under her account, she showed Heather the same image and asked how to apply it in the app. The response was, “I’ve already seen the picture and you’ll have to use the app, but I’m not sure how you do that in the Hilton app.” Neither my wife nor I appreciated the hint of attitude that came with the response. Also, working at a Hilton property, then telling someone to use the app, but that you’re not familiar with the app seems like a bit of a training oversight. Overall, the hotel was nice and clean, but the service experience left some room for improvement.
A very bad experience. The rooms were spacious but smelled musty, and the blackout curtains didn’t block out the light from outside. The elevators and restaurants were operating at half capacity. All of this was acceptable to a certain extent. However, the staff’s service left a lot to be desired. Not even a “hello” when we were doing check in. The recepcionist threw the cards of our group so we looked for ours and that was all. I had an issue with a room service order and the hotel’s handling of it was inadequate. And instead of an apology, I received a very rude phone call from Aaron, who is also the Front Desk Manager. Zero tact, customer service, or ability to handle complex situations. I won’t be returning to this hotel, and I don’t recommend it.
An exceptional bar experience. The smoked Old Fashioned was easily one of the best I’ve ever had—expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. The whiskey selection was outstanding, offering something for every enthusiast. Mimo provided impeccable service and elevated the entire experience with genuine hospitality. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the hotel.
The reception area is quite well made with a touch of class and welcoming. The room was clean and and the space impressive in size. Modern touch in lighting and furniture. The living area inside the room was well separated from the sleeping area offering privacy of some sorts. You can get to the bathroom without passing through the living area as there is a separate door. The tv can rotate 360 degrees. The shower and bathroom space is not as big but quite satisfactory to me. The breakfast was quite well made, one of the best I ever had in bed and breakfast. All the staff i interacted with were very friendly helpful except one. The cons: I was not impressed by the receptionist on arrival. The receptionist gave minimal information and did not act friendly. second con is parking. There is a charge of $30 per day to self park. I did self-park and i did not like the distance i had to drive to park. The closer spots are reserved for valet parking. I am not sure how much they charge to use valet parking but i would encourage you use valet parking especially if you have luggage. you will probably need to use stairs to get to the elevator after you park, plus it was not impressive down there.
Came for the World Cup. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but I never felt like any of them went out of the way to make me feel welcomed. However, the young men at the valet spot were extremely upbeat and positive. Eugene did a great job with our car. Nice pool, and a fantastic location! Overall, I would recommend staying here and I would return!
