A beautiful hotel that is centrally located to all that Brussels has to offer! Walkable to almost everywhere! Rooms were great condition, and they always kept the rooms very clean and comfortable! The front desk was helpful and always had a smile! The breakfast was very tasty and always set us up for a great day! The view of the Grand Palace was quite beautiful! Would absolutely come and stay here again on the next trip
Within minutes of arriving to check in, my 11 year old son and I were blown away by the warmth and kindness of the staff, particularly Fathy who runs the restaurant/bar. We had some lovely bar food and drinks while we waited to check in while she and her team rushed around a busy bar and also looked after us attentively. We will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in the area and recommend to friends. Thank you!
This place is less good than the brand would like. We regularly stay in Hiltons both in the UK and abroad and this one is mid table to put it mildly. The rooms are OK but lack the luxury that you find in other hotels. We were in an executive room and it was spacious yet spartan. The breakfast buffet is good with an amazing hoast greeting you as you come in (she really was ace). A good selection of food and drink. And a waffle maker I got kinda obsessed with. Where it falls down is the executive lounge and 'happy hour'. The offerings are unbelievably mean. No diet drinks in the fridges and food which is basically kids party food. One poor guy has to sort it all with no help and he's grumpy as heck. Poor show, suggest speaking to staff at your wembley, gatwick or prague hotels if you want to improve. The location is amazing if you want to be in the heart of the city.
I recently stayed at the Hilton Grand Palace in Brussels city center for 3 nights and it was one of my best hotel experiences in a long time. What really elevated the stay was the complimentary access to the executive lounge and the fantastic free breakfast that came with it. The lounge itself is beautiful – spacious, modern, with comfy seating, plenty of natural light, and a quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. It’s open all day with complimentary drinks (soft drinks, coffee, tea, water, plus a nice selection of wines and beers during evening happy hour from 5-8 PM). The evening hors d’oeuvres were generous – think quality cheeses, charcuterie, small hot bites like mini quiches and sliders, and even fresh salads. On multiple nights, it was substantial enough that we skipped going out for dinner. Breakfast in the lounge was a highlight every morning. It was a full hot and cold buffet (not just continental), with made-to-order eggs/omelets, fresh pastries, excellent Belgian waffles (crispy and delicious!), a wide variety of fruits, yogurts, cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, and really good coffee. Everything was well-stocked, replenished quickly, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. We loved starting the day there instead of fighting crowds in the main restaurant. Beyond the lounge perks, the room was clean, comfortable, and modern, with great views, a powerful shower, and thoughtful touches like good lighting and plenty of outlets. The hotel staff throughout were professional, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay smooth. If you’re looking for a hotel where the little extras (like truly valuable lounge access and a generous breakfast) make a big difference, I highly recommend the Grand Horizon. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Highly recommended – 5 stars! Julia and Jovelynn are friendliest staff we encountered. (lounge staffs) Merci!
Very nice location and comfortable rooms. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was great and the host was very friendly. The only thing that was not as expected was that my husband had previously informed the property that we were celebrating my birthday and had ordered a cake. However, when we arrived, no one seemed to know about it. It was meant to be a surprise, but they only brought the cake later that day. There was also nothing else in the room to acknowledge the occasion, and there was no water provided. As a team member reservation, we expected a more welcoming reception, especially for a special occasion and considering the standards we are already familiar with.
