  What a wonderful grand hotel - the Hilton President Kansas City. We had the opportunity to visit for a few days on our last trip to Kansas City. One note - not all hotel rooms have refrigerators. When checking in, if this is important to you - please ask the front desk for a room with one. The beds were so very comfortable, which is always our experience with Hilton hotels. We were able to take advantage of the gym on the morning the rain came and was a nicely stocked exercise room. We ate at the Drum Room both evening as the food and atmosphere was great. Located by lots of activities in downtown the walking is perfect when the weather allows.

  Such a beautiful historic hotel! We were here for a concert and the location was fantastic! Our room was spacious and clean, however no refrigerator, microwave, washcloths (we requested some and they were delivered very quickly!) or robes. We had drinks and appetizers in The Drum room and the drinks were great but the food not so much. Breakfast was great with a nice assortment to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No issues requesting extra coffee, tea. Very prompt and friendly service!

  Absolutely horrendous place, joined hundreds of beautifully dressed guests at a wedding reception here last night from 5-10pm. A/C was out, no attempts to bring in fans or backup cooling and no apologies, just thanks for your $100k, everyone should be fine. Butter was melted, no ice, everything was melted, this hotel should be humiliated, we did have good conversations but not one conversation happened without talking about this 🥵 , ruined photos with shiny faces, sweaty armpits, mumbling guests of discomfort, minimal dancing it was too stale & hot, falling hairstyles, just embarrassing for them. Never recommend, no stars earned.

  RoomRankView.com honestly helped make this stay even better. I came across it before arriving and decided to check out the room locations ahead of time. At check-in, the gal at the front desk was super nice and mentioned they only had rooms 522 and 514 available. Because I had already looked them up, I knew 522 had the better view, so I went with that one. Really glad I did. If I would’ve chosen 514, I would’ve been staring right at another building. Instead, 522 had a much more open view and it completely changed the feel of the room. It’s crazy how much the view impacts the overall experience. Beyond that, the hotel itself was fantastic. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, great atmosphere, and friendly staff throughout. Check-in was smooth, everything felt well maintained, and the location was perfect. Overall, such an amazing hotel and definitely a stay I’d repeat.

  Amazing! So much history. Room was beautiful. Perfect location to walk to everything. Staff was wonderful. Only two things that were bothersome were the toilet and the toilet paper holder. The handle on the toilet was broken so it was slightly difficult to flush and the toilet paper holder fell apart when pulling a piece of tissue off. Otherwise everything was absolutely wonderful.
