Senaida Saenza week agoHad a fantastic experience here! The service by Walter at the bar and throughout the hotel was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The highlight for me was the Old Fashioned made by Phillip. Easily one of the best I've had—perfectly balanced, smooth, and expertly crafted. It's clear the bartenders take pride in their cocktails. Great atmosphere, excellent food and drinks, and exceptional service. I'll definitely be back!
Katrina Fannin3 months agoWe had the BEST experience! We’ve stayed in many hotels across the city to find our favorite! I am utterly impressed by this hotel, the staff & how caring and accommodating they are for their customers! The BIGGEST shoutout goes to SYDNEY & LUXY! Hands down the two best hotel receptionists I’ve ever spoke to/met! It was our son’s 7th bday and he wanted to have the best stay and these two girls made it so it was perfect for him! If you two read this, please know you made a CORE memory for my son for all the adjustments you made, and for making it so special! & if you the manager are reading this, GIVE THESE GIRLS A RAISE!!! They went above and beyond - we will be back as we have finally found our favorite hotel in the city!🥰
Kevin Suaresa month agoMy colleagues and I stayed at the DoubleTree while officiating a youth soccer tournament. The front desk staff was excellent throughout our stay. Carla and Lexi were especially friendly and always made sure my room met expectations. After long 15-hour days at the fields, we were able to relax each night at the bar and restaurant before closing. Walter gave us some of the best customer service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. He welcomed us warmly and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We didn’t interact with Phil as much, but he was also very friendly and checked on us whenever Walter was helping other guests. Because of the outstanding customer service, the DoubleTree will definitely be our first choice for future trips.
Reyne Saundersa month agoIn town for a softball tournament this weekend, and the Doubletree hotel was on the mandated list of hotels. I ended up being very glad that it was. To be honest, the hotel itself is not very impressive. Team members had issues with the sinks backing up and the air conditioners not working very well at all. The only saving grace for this place was the staff. They have the best overall staff that I have ever experienced in all of our traveling for games. Lexy at the desk is amazing and the perfect person to welcome guests into your property, and the bar staff were all rockstars! If you want the best cocktail in the area, you need to go see Walter and Phil at the bar. They play off of each other like they are twins, and they make the best drinks that I have ever tasted! The rooms a 2 at the best, but the staff is a 10.
Rich Bennett4 months agoWhat made this a standout stay was the staff. Luxy laid the foundation for a great stay with one of the warmest, friendliest check-ins I can remember — greeting us with a smile, asking about our day, clearly sharing about dinner and breakfast availability, recognizing us as Diamond members, and providing a room upgrade since the hotel was not especially crowded. Both other desk staff we encountered were also friendly, including the young man who helped with a small print job, and the assistant front office manager who checked us out and quickly worked through a minor issue. The restaurant staff were on top of their game as well. We are in the KC regularly, and when we are back in June, we look forward to being back here!
