Diana Albarran4 weeks agoMy husband, Winnie (our dog), and I had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk. From check-in to checkout, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay special, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and amenities that made our experience even more enjoyable. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable. While we didn’t have a special view, it was quiet, elegant, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety, making it something we looked forward to each morning. We also especially enjoyed spending time in the lounge, where the happy hour offerings were a wonderful touch and a great way to relax after exploring San Antonio. We also loved how pet-friendly the hotel is. This was Winnie’s very first hotel stay, and the staff made her feel just as welcome as we did. It made the experience even more memorable for our little family. The location is excellent for exploring the River Walk, and the overall atmosphere is modern, sophisticated, and relaxing. We truly appreciated the hospitality and thoughtful touches that made our anniversary celebration even more special. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk to anyone looking for a luxurious, pet-friendly hotel with excellent service.
Shavana Marie3 weeks agoWonderful experience! We drove from Dallas to attend a wedding and arrived early Saturday morning around 4am. We were exhausted from the drive and Fernando was helpful. He quickly checked us in and made sure we were comfortable. Rooms were clean and the vibe of the hotel was welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. we tried the yummy juices, French toast, omelettes, waffle, and breakfast burrito.
Kevin Wanga month agoUpscale hotel by San Antonio Riverwalk I stayed here over a June weekend. Emily at the front desk is such a valuable member of your team! She was super welcoming and extremely helpful! The King room was well appointed with a plush bed, desk and chair with a view, and large bench. There’s a good amount of storage in a large wardrobe with a modern bathroom. I do wish the water pressure was stronger. Location-wise, it’s a bit tucked away in a less traveled area of the riverwalk (so not noisy) but it’s not a far walk to the busy areas. There’s not much else around though.
Mary Biancalanaa month agoAbsolutely beautiful hotel right along the San Antonio Riverwalk. It was very easy to check in and we appreciate that this hotel has a covered, drive-in valet parking area. Our room was very modern and impeccably clean. We love the clothing armoire that had lighting on the inside with ample storage. Inside the room we had a counter height desk, countertop and TV , coffee and cappuccino maker. The staff here were very friendly and supportive. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and we ate dinner at the Cavalier restaurant. The chef-made entrees were excellent including the beef brisket with polenta, Italian foggaccia bread, Caesar salad with grilled chicken and The vegetarian minestrone was awesome..
Chow-Ming Lee3 months agoI had a very pleasant experience at the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk hotel. The rooms are modern and clean, and bed was perfect! I usually don't sleep well in hotels, but the bed at the hotel is amazing and kept me rested. The check-in was fast, smooth and professional. The breakfast at the lounge is better than at many of the other hotels, with better ingredients, presentations and most importantly - friendly staff. During my stay, I visited the hotel restaurant called Cavalier many times. I enjoyed live jazz music during brunch and chatted about foods with a friendly host named Regina. The restaurant serves some of the best foods I have ever had - be sure to try the crab cake sandwich and the homemade pickles! They are so good, I know where I want to stay the next time when I am in San Antonio.
