I'll be honest, at first I was skeptical. But I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was clean and the room had a great layout and was nicely updated. The bed was pretty comfortable and everything was great. The location felt a bit sketchy, but we didn't have any issues. It was a little noisy throughout the night with sirens and people in the hallway being loud. The staff was very friendly and check-in/check-out was quick and easy. No real complaints. My wife and I were happy with our stay.
For the price of $240 a night for two queen beds this room was very subpar. It don’t feel clean enough for my liking. The tile in the bathroom was cracked in several places, the sink was so loose anytime I tried to turn it in or off it felt like it would come out. The window curtain situation was weird and to see a parking garage so clearly right next to the room (I don’t feel like the windows stop you from veining in the room) it felt weird. The front desk staff was ok. Nothing really notable. It wasn’t completely packed but I could see how parking could be an issue on a bus weekend. Decent location with proximity to downtown and other stuff near the area. All in all, the rooms need an update and a good carpet shampoo.
This last stay was a NIGHTMARE. I have stayed at this hotel 4/5 time and never had issues before the staff have always been friendly and they offer complimentary breakfast which had a huge variety. Unfortunately this last stay I did discover roaches in my room after I was aware of the situation I immediately packed my things and asked front desk to move me rooms they were not able to do that because they said they were sold out of rooms. Mind you this is around 12 am in the middle of the night happening to me. As I was going downstairs I saw another roach scale up the wall next to the elevators and made the executive decision to leave the property. I tried to explain the front desk what the issue was and he stated I would need to come back to next day to handle the situation when the manager would be there. The next morning I ended up hearing from the manager and was able to get a refund but beware of roaches. The room & hotel was overall good but as soon as I saw the bugs I felt itchy.
We stayed here for 3 nights while attending Collect-a-con for the weekend. The room was kinda humid. But we brought a fan cause I read in another comment it might be. Besides the room being humid, the elevator only being big enough for 2 and some people fighting in the parking lot. It was a decent stay. The free breakfast was good. Nothing fancy. But it was free. So can't really complain. I would stay again if I had to.
Shower head was broken, people were slamming doors and yelling until 5am, got zero sleep. This is the worst place we have ever stayed at 280 night.
