James2 months agoGreat museum with amazing pieces on display! They've got a Georgia O'Keefe piece that is unlike any of her floral artwork. I was curious to see value. Google said the piece was bought for $12M in 2016 and has an estimated worth of $44M today! The layout of the museum is great! The entrance is breathtaking with amazing Chihuly glass! A local artist who's gaining a big name for herself also was on display. She's getting into national galleries and gaining attention internationally. Her pieces are unlike anything you've ever seen! She uses textiles and meticulously stitches together stories that evoke many emotions. Be sure to check out Eden Quispe! Free Entrance
Randi Ledezma3 weeks agoWe really enjoyed our visit to the Wichita Art Museum. The free admission makes it an easy stop, and it was a great opportunity to expose both my younger and older kids to art and culture. We were pleasantly surprised to find works by Andy Warhol, which was definitely a highlight of our visit. The museum is beautiful, easy to explore, and offers something for all ages. If you’re in Wichita, it’s absolutely worth stopping by!
Andre Kochetov2 months agoSmall but very nice free art museum surrounded by green park with sculptures. There is an American art spirit presented by the distinguished artists such as Mary Cassatt, Edward Hopper, Charles Russel... and flying table "Living History" by Beth Lipman.
