  Rooms are great size for solo trips. I was here a week and the only complaint I have is no laundry room. They provide laundry bag but no laundry room. Breakfast is good with a great selection. The eggs and protein are different every morning. Never ate the same eggs (always a different way they were made) or protein twice. They have a peloton bike in the gym which I love and I have one at home so I was able to login and use. It will log out if you forget. The staff is super friendly and really helpful. Has lots of great restaurants nearby. I come to Wichita once a month and this will be my preferred hotel of choice.

  My room was clean and the front desk was incredibly friendly, and everything in my room seemed to be functional. It's also in a great location near a bunch of restaurants (Umi was delicious!) and different things to do. However, the room itself was designed pretty terribly. The shower has no shelf of any kind, so there's nowhere to put your own toiletries. The mini fridge is loud and in an open space near the bed (under just an open table with no sound buffering), so it lets out a constant high pitched hum unless you unplug it. There are no lights accessible by the bed, so if you want to read or relax in bed before sleep you better do it in the dark or be ready to fully cross the room to reach any lights. It's like every detail was designed and arranged by someone who wouldn't actually use the space. Construction is also kinda iffy. This seems like a pretty new place yet the wallpaper is peeling in the hallways and the flooring in my room was separating. While it was fine now, I wouldn't be surprised if it really deteriorated in the next year or two. If I absolutely needed somewhere to stay, I'd be okay staying here again. But all the little inconveniences and poor quality moments add up to a space that just isn't actually that comfortable.

  Great hotel! Staff is amazing. Breakfast was good. Very cute little place. Outdoor seating for reading or eating. Good location, a lot to do near by. Easy parking. Our room was very very clean which was really appreciated.

  We love staying at Tru by Hilton. The places are always clean and comfortable with great breakfast. This place was no different except the staff was not quite as friendly as we have previously had at places. When trying to speak to the front desk clerk she just stared at me like I was bothering her and irritated I asked a question. Breakfast did have less fruit topping than any other place but still good.

  I'm not sure why this hotel is rated as high as it is. The best part of my stay was the front desk staff. The hotel has roaches. Not that I found a dead roach from insect remediation but a living roach. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it because I'm a smash and flush first type of person. The toilet in our first room, with the roach, had a broken wax seal so it leaked. The front desk immediately moved us to a new room and that was better. The hotel overall should have been cleaner. I only saw 1 cleaning staff when I was leaving so they may be understaffed. Yes roaches are attracted to water so the broken wax seal may be contributing but you have to already have roaches in the hotel for them to make their way up to the second floor. It's not like this is the humid south with no winters where they just live outside. I liked the minimalist room but did it have to extend to the walls too? I heard everything from the neighboring rooms; there is currently renovations occurring so hopefully they will address that issue and not just reface the outside. Not sure if the hotel has a Q2Q or X1 type of TV service but it probably needs to be reset as the TV would randomly reset to the home screen and increase the volume even. It was annoying trying to watch a movie.
