D•Y•L•A•N—-TXa month agoWe recently had the privilege of attending the Blood Cancer United Visionaries of the Year Awards Dinner at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, where we were there to support my cousin, Mark Baublit, and his incredible team. The Tobin Center was absolutely breathtaking. The venue seamlessly transformed from a world-class performing arts center into an elegant gala space that was both sophisticated and welcoming. The lighting, acoustics, seating, and overall atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for an evening dedicated to celebrating hope, generosity, and life-changing work in the fight against blood cancers. The staff was professional and attentive, and every detail of the event appeared to be thoughtfully executed. From the beautifully arranged dining area to the stage presentations and award ceremonies, the entire experience was first-class. It was especially meaningful to witness Blood Cancer United recognize outstanding individuals making a difference, all while raising significant funds for such an important cause. The Tobin Center helped elevate the evening into something truly unforgettable. Whether you're attending a concert, theatrical performance, or special event, the Tobin Center is a gem in the heart of San Antonio. We left inspired, grateful, and looking forward to returning again in the future. P.S. Congratulations to the entire Blood Cancer United team. Jet Fabara2 months agoBeautiful venue! Attended a YOSA concert and it was a wonderful experience. Truly appreciate all the volunteers who assist with these concerts. The venue does offer covered and valet-service parking. The covered parking garage is approximately a block away but they do offer a golf cart shuttle service for those who have trouble walking.
Dar Osberg3 months agoGorgeous theater! We came for the Lucy Darling show last week and had a great time! Parking was a breeze, staff was very kind and helpful, and didn't mind the short walk from the parking lot to the venue since the buildings nearby are very pretty. I loved how the seating in the balcony was designed and found the view to be very reasonable for our ticket price! For reference, we were in the Right Lower Mezzanine. My ONLY complaint was the temperature inside.. I was sweating the whole show because it was a few degrees too warm. Not sure if it was the crowd or climate control issues, but it could definitely have been a bit more comfortable. I have already requested time off to come see Clue in May! I look forward to coming here again for more shows! 10/10.
Chris Gomez4 months agoThis place is absolutely stunning, and the people working here are just as wonderful. The ushers and all the staff were incredibly helpful and made the experience even better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place that's beautiful on the inside and out!
Gaurav6 months agoWe visited the Tobin Center in December 2025 to watch the Cirque Musica show, and it was a fantastic experience. Security was quick and efficient, and the stage was beautifully set for the acrobatic performances. The show itself was outstanding. A quick tip: if you bring a backpack, you may need to check it at the counter. Also, the online ticket booking includes a high administrative fee, which you can avoid by purchasing tickets in person. Overall, we really enjoyed the Tobin Center and look forward to visiting again.
