  Arneson River Theatre is one of the most beautiful places to take in the River Walk while enjoying live performances. It not only is one of the more picturesque places to sit and take in sites and sounds of San Antonio, but also its the gateway to La Valitta. There are two parking garages close by and plenty of restaurants, shops and museums within short walking distance. Well worth a visit.

  We attended a wedding here and omg it was gorgeous! Amphitheater type style, bridge is accessible for all. Only thing, the boat tours were still going through the area during the ceremony, but what can you do.

  Open Air Theater on the Riverwalk, with mostly free performances… Entrance is in La Villita, although when it’s less crowded, you can access the seats from the Riverwalk. This is the site of the “Perfect Date” scene from Miss Congeniality; and it’s peaceful place to sit when there aren’t any shows. The “Go Rio” cruises pass here on an hourly basis
