  I had a great stay at The Viv last month. The room was comfortable and spacious. All of the staff who I interacted with were super nice and helpful. Food and drinks at Valencia’s were good. The rooftop restaurant was closed, so I didn’t experience that. The pool was too cold, so no experience there either. The little market in the lobby was good for grabbing a few snacks and using that $25/day credit. Unfortunately, their espresso machine was down the whole time I was there. As someone who drinks espresso daily, that was disappointing. Housekeeping was fine but the shower/bathtub were in poor condition. Also, I found it odd that there was no trashcan in the room, only in the bathroom. I’m really surprised by other reviews complaining about deposits and fees. Those are all very standard practices, especially for properties near attractions like Disneyland. All of the fees were disclosed when I booked and when I checked in. They even gave me a piece of paper with all the details. All in all, I’d stay again!

  My family visits Disneyland once a year or so, and we’ve never stayed at the same hotel twice. However, after this stay at The Viv, I can’t imagine trying to find a better place! From check in to check out, we had excellent service from the staff and our room was very comfortable. The entire place was clean and well maintained. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool on this trip, but it was beautiful. I briefly explored the rooftop area to get a drink one night and it’s gorgeous. The parking garage is very easy to get in and out of, and the shuttle service to the parks picked up right in front of the hotel. The noise between rooms was almost nonexistent, to the point that I wondered if there were even other guests on our floor. That is not an experience I often have in hotels these days. I am so impressed with the Viv, and I am already looking forward to a return stay.

  Was greeted instantly by THE MOST helpful and friendly staffer named Ace!! Stayed with me and the kids and made sure we got checked in, brought up our luggage, and gave us some tips to really enjoy this hotel. Location is great too. We have a view of Disneyland's fireworks from our room so NO CROWDS!! Love the 2 separate pools & hot tubs and the splash pad. Bakery on site is better than Starbucks any day. Room was super clean and very comfortable!! Love the modern vibe to the room and the whole hotel.

  Recently stayed at VIV and was very pleased with their service. The rooms were clean and large, the staff were very kind and helpful. I really appreciate the minimalistic designs throughout the hotel. Less is more. The cafe in the lobby was amazing. Great hotel if you are doing Disney. Definitely recommend! And I am picky with hotels, this one checked off all my boxes! Thank you!

  Right when we pulled up, the valet guys greeted us and helped with our luggages. The lobby had a super welcoming vibe. Check-in was super easy and everything matched what we reserved. We booked the “cool room,” the one with the bunk beds. The kids LOVED the bunks. We’re a family of four but honestly the room could probably sleep six pretty comfortably. Beds were comfy, and the room had plenty of space and was really clean. The covered parking was nice too since it rained while we were there. The rooftop bar was cool and had an awesome view of the Disneyland fireworks at night. We were in town for our anniversary, but we’ll for sure be coming back next time we do Disneyland.
