Mallory Rodrigueza month agoFirstly, there is false advertisement as the bonvoy app shows this hotel has a hot tub and well it doesn’t. You can see they patched it up and filled it with concrete, so that was a major disappointment as the pool is not heated and freezing cold. There is mold all over the shower glass, I cleaned the floor myself of the shower. My daughter took a freezing cold shower because there was no hot water for some reason? Don’t know what that’s about…. The lampshade was stained badly. The pullout mattress had a used sheet on it with hair and the mattress had springs bulging through it. The dining room chairs are ripped up and old, the breakfast is the same thing every single day. There is no bathtubs in this hotel so please note that as well. They still use horizontal blinds that let a lot of light through. This place needs some major updates and renovations!
Kevin Schultza month agoThis isn't a very nice hotel, and I'd only suggest staying here if it is convenient location-wise, like it was for me. My room smelled damp, sweaty and unclean and I think there's some sort of issue with the ventilation system here, because the bathroom had tell-tale signs of persistent mildew growth. There were also a shocking number of visible water stains on the wallpapered surfaces of the bathroom that you couldn't not see based on the lighting; it was clear to me that the room and bathroom were pretty much perennially in a state of unresolvable dampness. The bed was fine and the electrical outlets worked, and for my short stay I just needed a place to sleep and charge my phone, so I decided to just deal with the issues, but I'd second guess staying here again. And, although status is mostly worthless these days - just as an anecdote, I am a Marriott Titanium member and have been for many years, and this is the room I got - so, if a damp mildewy room is what they see fit to give someone who spends north of $10k a year with Marriott, you're really rolling the dice here! It's really a pleasure to be thanked for my loyalty with a room like the one I had! 😂
Danielle Erdman8 months agoMy room was spacious and comfortable. The woman who checked me in was very polite and welcoming, and Brittany at the bar was great. Your night shift front desk employee was sleeping in your lobby at 5AM my first morning. The breakfast area needs cleaned and the coffee station was unappetizing to say the least. When I commented the second morning about the creamers needing cleaned, the kitchen employee said to take it up with the front desk night shift who is supposed to do it. She did go wipe the mouth of the creamer with a rag. 🤢
Steve Schroedera month agoThis used to be a great spot in Cleveland. Staff is apathetic at best. Shower didnt have conditioner or body wash. Showerhead had 4 working openings that were not enough to shower. Also, they have the half open showers, so standing there with little water, you're shivering. Internet tv works for 30-40 mins then signs you out and you have to sign back. 3x already tonight. Pillows and beds need update and upgrade. Have been staying here for a decade, will look for other options. The problem is Cleveland has the worst hotel options, unless you stay downtown.
Rich Anderson3 months agoWhirlpool out of order and not disclosed prior to arrival, I really needed it for bad back so I was bummed; auto pancake machine out of order (sign said "snap oops") which I guess is code for not working?! What? Grandson disappointment....Anyways, we've stayed here before.... overall "free" breakfast was still good... relatively clean place....wife told staff about disappointments on pancakes and whirlpool...no offer to adjust...at $200+++ a night for just a standard room should have been adjusted, if I wasn't rangaling luggage and g son I think I would have insisted. Staff pretty much hid in backroom during visit on phones.....
