I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. One evening the bar was packed, yet the team behind it worked efficiently and kept things moving. Room service was quick, fairly priced, and even offered options for pets, which was a great surprise. I’d be more than happy to stay here again.

If I could rate this 10 stars I would! We usually stay here but we were in town for inlay a day and night and we decided to stop by and have dinner at the restaurant. Well usually hotel restaurants are buns but NOT this one! Every time we stay here the food is phenomenal EVERY TIME! Especially their double cheeseburger! I would recommend to anyone!

Meh. Lobby nice, but three people crowd the lap pool. Nice gym. Lovely terrace they won't allow you access to. Escalator to convention center doesn't work. Bathroom door in rooms is basically useless.

Such a nice hotel with great rooms. We booked in for over Christmas and loved how central it was to the city. They have a nice fancy lobby bar, eating area and restaurant with an adjoining coffee shop. The only thing we were disappointed in was there was no fancy Christmas lunch available like other high end hotels we have stayed in across America on Christmas. Our rooms were very nice with views of thw city. We did have fridges in each room but not stocked which I would have expected at a high end hotel. The guys who parked our car were really nice and helpful. The bar staff we found weren't as nice, not often did they smile or make us feel welcomed. We have a wedding in September and probably would stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed in many four and five star hotels across the United States over the years. Properties from Four Seasons, The Ritz Carlton, Grand Hyatt, Thompson Hyatt, and several Marriott Autograph Collection hotels have all been part of our travels. Many of them were excellent, but our recent stay at the Loews Hotel in Kansas City truly stood out. The experience started the moment we arrived. The valet team greeted us right away and set a very welcoming tone. Shortly after that we met the bellman who helped us with our luggage, and he was fantastic. He was friendly, conversational, and took the time to share insights about the property and the surrounding area. It felt less like a routine interaction and more like a genuine welcome to the hotel and to Kansas City. That level of service continued at the front desk. The team there was polished, professional, and clearly focused on creating a great guest experience. Every interaction felt natural and thoughtful, which is something you notice right away when a hotel truly values service. When we walked into our room, we were immediately impressed. The space was beautiful and very well appointed, and the view of downtown Kansas City was a stunner. The large windows made the skyline feel like part of the room. What stood out even more to me was the condition of the room itself. It was incredibly clean. I say that because I have unfortunately had the opposite experience at several hotels that carry four or five star ratings. Some of those stays came with real housekeeping horror stories. That was not the case here. Everything felt spotless and well cared for. Another pleasant surprise was how quiet the room was. Being in the heart of a major downtown area, you often expect some level of noise. Instead, the room felt calm and peaceful throughout the night, which made it easy to relax and get a great night of sleep. When I look back at the many hotels we have stayed in over the past few years, the Loews in Kansas City stands apart. The service, the attention to detail, the comfort of the room, and the overall atmosphere surpassed many other luxury properties we have visited. If you are visiting Kansas City and want a hotel that delivers a beautiful setting, outstanding service, and a truly comfortable stay, the Loews should absolutely be on your list. It left a lasting impression on us, and we look forward to coming back. We do not write many hotel reviews, even if the experience was terrible, but this stay deserved one as it was fantastic.
