Maria Nelson4 months agoJAYLLEN at the front desk handled everything with our needs including helping us with another night due to layover because of flight cancelation. Overall, the hotel was wonderful and all the staff were awesome. I thought the food was to pricey for me but the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Joseph Mackay3 years agoThe Depot hosted our regional convention and were spectacular. Marriott products always deliver, and this location exceeded even those high expectations. The convention space was large and enjoyable. The hotel rooms were comfortable and quiet. Rounded all out with a great, friendly staff. Easy 5 stars.
Debbie Bowman Art11 months agoI recently had the privilege of painting a wedding at the Depot this summer for the first time, and hopefully it won't be my last! The venue is absolutely beautiful! The staff were absolutely fantastic to work with; they made my job so easy! As a painter these are the kind of venues I get so excited to paint!
Alan Harlow3 years agoReally cool venue for events and parties! Although I didn't attend an event at the The Depot, it looks like a fantastic, fun place to have an event. I was a guest staying in the Marriott Renaissance Hotel, adjacent to the event area. On the day of my visit there was not an event or party in progress. The main event area was not open, but I did explore the common areas and look in through the windows and it looked really nice. The event hall is actually the historic train depot building in downtown Minneapolis. The "Depot" event center and the surrounding area and facilities are immaculate and well maintained. The facility, including the adjacent hotel all have a magnificent architecture and design that reflect the historic neighborhood and surrounding area. The event center itself appears to be a perfect location for weddings, parties, receptions, conventions and meetings. The Marriott Renaissance Hotel adjacent is modern and beautiful. The hotel is perfect for out of town guests who will be attending an event at The Depot. The Depot Event Center is a beautiful, historic facility offering a unique event experience.
Nikki5 years agoWe stayed at nearby hotel and found The Shed open for happy hour. Thought it was only an event venue. But they had comfy couches, a nice breeze, wonderful waitress (wearing a mask outdoors) and lots to watch going by on Washington Avenue. We enjoyed it so much we stayed longer than expected. A PERFECT place to take a city break.
