Debbie Creager4 months agoMy stay at the Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio was absolutely exceptional. Every staff member was amazing from the moment I checked in to the time I checked out. They truly made me feel welcome. The room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the fresh fruit and cookies available in the lobby each day — such a thoughtful touch! The rooftop café served amazing food with stunning views, and the rooftop pool was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hotel’s prime location right on the River Walk, with easy access to shopping and dining, made everything so convenient. Mokara exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t wait to return!
Bill Stewart2 months agoMy wife and I came here for our anniversary weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff provided top-notch service. Our concierge, Mickey, was amazing—I know it’s his job, but he went above and beyond, welcoming us with two glasses of champagne and a genuinely warm attitude. Front desk associate Carl was equally welcoming, ensuring we knew about all the wonderful amenities the hotel has to offer. On a side note: don't let any elitist vibes from other guests bother you. Carry yourself with confidence and keep them guessing!...Lol.Overall, an incredible stay. I can't believe I forgot to mention the room itself! It was absolutely flawless, carrying a beautiful, classic, and nostalgic elegance. Plus, it featured a huge, oversized tub with plenty of room for two. Just as amazing as the staff!

Every team member, from the valet and front desk staff to the concierge, went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. A special thank you to the valet team. Their level of attentiveness was remarkable. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and consistently delivered service with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. It’s rare to experience hospitality at this level, and they made our stay feel effortless and memorable. If you’re looking for a hotel where the staff truly values the guest experience, this is it. We can’t wait to return!
Jessica den Herder2 months agoI truly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the second we arrived. The hotel was peaceful and quiet and truly relaxing. Got to enjoy the relaxation lounge in the Whirlpool. They found out we were celebrating something and brought us chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne. Then, when we checked out of the hotel, they helped load our car and left us with some trail mix for the road. These little tiny thoughtful things truly made the stay unique from any other hotel I’ve ever been at. My husband and I enjoyed every relaxing moment of this day and will be back!! Thank you!!
