Beautiful atrium. We had a good stay here with a soccer tournament. Everyone was friendly. They took care of our concerns immediately. However, after staying here for a full week, the staff had it out for our team specifically. Individually, most of us were treated with respect. As a group, we felt ostracized. We did not feel welcome as a group. The back fireplace room didn’t have air conditioning for a few days even though it was apparently the only common area available at night. The atrium closed at 10pm, but the parents were pushed out of the area at 915, only to have others comfortably enjoy their time in the atrium after 10pm without being told. Other younger teams were staying alongside ours, but were never held accountable for their volume or activities, while ours had been scolded for minimum activity between 6 & 7pm. We arrived without air conditioning for our room, as others in our group had similar problems, but they were prompt to fix each, asap. Two of the four elevators were unavailable or slow in comparison to the other. We ended up using the latter. Our time in the tournament came to an abrupt end, however the hotel was not willing to bend for some of our group who had booked nights further into the week. No money back, no discounted money back. Policies are policies here. Don’t expect more. Laundry facilities were scarce (only 1 of each for all 250 rooms) but free to use. The restaurant had amazing affordable food with an incredible waitress named Becca. They’re very strict on their policies. Not sure this is a good place for an abundance of kids of any age. This hotel is more for conventions, business travellers, and maybe smaller families.
I recently stayed at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest and wanted to share my experience. Although the hotel was very busy with multiple events and hosting a large number of kids—which did make it quite noisy at times—the service truly stood out. Every single staff member I encountered was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. No matter the request or question, they responded with genuine warmth and a smile, which made a lasting impression. The on-site restaurant was also a highlight—delicious food and extremely convenient, especially during a busy stay. I’d especially like to recognize Mo, who was exceptionally attentive to all guests and brought such an amazing personality to the experience. As someone who travels frequently, I can confidently say that this level of service is gold. Great service will always outweigh a few restless kids and even a late-night false fire alarm. Overall, a good stay thanks to an outstanding team.
Have been coming here for work regularly for the past 6 months. All the staff is absolutely mazing. If I forget something in a trip, they actively work to get in touch with me and return it. The restaurant and bar takes the time to know its customers and is really great at predicting their needs. Huge thank you to Greg for taking care of me all these months at the restaurant and the great concierge staff for helping with rooms, lost items and just generally being wonderful. I miss home a lot and my family even more when I’m gone, but the service here really helps to lighten the load. If you can, stop in and say hi. You won’t be disappointed.
I stayed here for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. The room was clean, well-maintained, and featured a great layout: a front "living room" with a couch, chair, and TV, separated by a door from the bedroom, which included a dedicated desk and a second TV. It also came equipped with a mini-fridge and a coffee maker, plus a nice walk-in shower. A major highlight was the on-site restaurant; the dinner prices were surprisingly reasonable—not inflated like many hotel dining options—and both the food and service were excellent. Additionally, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I was happy to wake up without any of the back pain I sometimes experience at hotels. I am rating this four stars instead of five only because of the atrium-style setup. The noise from gatherings in the large open area carried directly into the front living room, making it quite loud at times.
Had a wonderful experience at the Marriott, and a big thank you to Hannah Swain for making the stay even better! She was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely pleasant to talk to throughout the process. Hannah went above and beyond in helping me with an upgrade and made everything feel seamless and welcoming. Customer service like hers truly stands out — thank you again for the hospitality!
