Stayed here for a week in May 2026, celebrating my husbands 30th birthday. Room was clean, NO bed bugs like I kept reading about on here. Room is a little dated but I’m not staying there for the decor. They provide you with basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner etc), hair dryer, iron & board, microwave, ice bucket & a coffeemaker. Air conditioning & free parking was a blessing! The staff were all lovely! A lovely lady Steph, organised for my husband to have his favourite bottle of whiskey, a slice of cake, a lovely birthday card signed by all the staff & some towel swans, ready for our arrival! I didn’t think we had breakfast included but was surprised at check in that we did. They had coffee, juice, a small selection of fruits & yogurt, gravy & biscuits, A waffle maker with sauces for toppings & a selection of pastries & toast. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked clean and inviting! Not that close Broadway but Ubers only cost me $6 / $7 per trip, or the hotel offers a free shuttle back and forth at certain times! I’m glad I chose to ignore the negative reviews on here because I didn’t experience anything negative. Would definitely recommend this hotel :)

Quiet, clean, and what makes the stay IMO: zero bugs! A couple small scale issues that only slightly impacted the stay, but not enough to complain. (Shower pressure was so powerful it sprayed out of the tub, and the drain needed badly drained.) Breakfast was a "cold" breakfast on weekdays as far as we could tell unless you want to wait in line for a single waffle maker, but good on weekends. No on site laundry, which was a bummer. Location is gorgeous, parking was free and never a struggle to park. We didn't check out the pool, but it looked gorgeous. Beautiful lobby and first floor. The on-site restaurant & bar had temporary hours, and the food was nothing special, but it was fine enough! Thank you!

Overall, I'd definitely stay here again. The hotel is larger than your typical Hampton Inn or similar chain hotel, and I was honestly expecting to spend half the evening wandering around trying to find my room. Surprisingly, the layout was very easy to navigate. Check-in was quick, parking was easy, and every employee I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The room itself was clean, and that's always my biggest priority. The bedding was clean, the bathroom was clean, and everything felt well cared for. The only reason I wouldn't personally call it a perfect 5-star stay is that the property is starting to show its age in a few places. Nothing major—just little maintenance items like some rust spots around the bathtub and a few cosmetic things that could use a facelift. It didn't affect my stay at all, but it's noticeable if you're paying attention. My biggest suggestion for future guests is to request a room that doesn't have an adjoining door if possible. The sound insulation through that door isn't the greatest, and let's just say... I became a little more familiar with my neighbors' evening activities than I had planned. 😅 That's obviously not the hotel's fault, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. I also wish hotels would simply include parking and any resort or destination fees in the advertised room rate instead of adding them later. Even with those extra charges, though, this hotel still ended up being less expensive than another nearby hotel I stayed at the night before—and honestly, I enjoyed this stay much more. If I were scoring it myself, it'd be about a 4.5 out of 5. The staff was excellent, the room was clean, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was a good one. I'd absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a fair price.

We checked in 5/23 and the room we received was really out dated but was clean. The toilet seat was loose and the drain in the tub was sitting on the ledge. The door stopper was broke off the back of the door. The shower was spraying water everywhere from the shower head. On 5/30 at 2:30am the hanger rack fell off the wall scared the Holy Ghost out of us. Talked with front desk help and the lady was really nice and explained we could no longer stay in the room because it was a safety hazard. So she gave us another room. She said we could switch out when we returned from breakfast. When we got back to the room and the shelf was back up on the wall but we still moved out. We get to the new room and the tv did not work. Called the front desk and a maintenance man came to the room. He told us that he previously tried fixing the tv but something was broken inside the wall behind the tv. Which I did not understand if this was already a problem why was the room still being issued out. And yes OF COURSE we was told we would have to go to another room. We waited an hour for the next available room but kept getting the run around. We got down stairs and the front desk lady Shenieka was so unprofessional to the point I had to ask for a manager. Trying to explain the situation with her over talking me was really difficult. I had to stop away and let my husband and mother in law handle the situation because maybe she was having a bad day. But things still didn’t get taking care of even with them taking over. We left and went to dinner and came back to a different front desk person( I did not get his name) Which I had to explain the whole situation to him because there was NO notes left about the situation. He was really really nice and helped us out in the end. Told us if we have anymore problems he’s there until 11pm. We travel a lot and never have these problems. No compensation was giving for our inconvenience. We just kept getting the run around. We was part of a party of 7 with 3 different rooms rented. Another one of our party had to be moved out there room twice because the tv and toilet didn’t work. The hotel need some major room upgrades and customer service training. Please please address Shenieka if she is going to handle the customer issues because that’s not professional.

I stayed at this hotel during the ice storm here in Nashville during the month of January. I am from Nashville and my entire life this hotel has always held a good reputation of being a nice hotel that was always good go to place. I knew the hotel was outdated inside and did expect that but I definitely didn’t expect what was to come. This hotel needs a complete overhaul from new staff to renovations and better amenities. We waited 5 hours for our room in the lobby and kept being told we had to wait while watching other people who came in after us get keys to their room. Instead of checking what was going on with the room, the gentleman at the front desk kept giving the same speech to anyone who approached the desk. I understand it was an overwhelming time since I’m sure the amount of people staying at this hotel was more than this hotel had ever seen. I have honestly never stayed at a hotel like this, where staff seemed to not know how to answer some questions. I know they were doing their best but my goodness. We finally get to the room (after my partner had to go up there and firmly have the guy explain why others who came in after us were getting their key after we had been sitting in the lobby since 9:30 am and it was 2:30pm) and not only was it outdated, it was disgusting. The shower had standstill water in it when I turned the shower on. There was black scum that came shooting out and floating around in the standstill water. We ended up having to bathe in the sink. You could also tell the room had only been partially cleaned because if you moved the bed over a little there were crumbs and gunk behind the bed. The carpet throughout the entire hotel had a smell and was visibly filthy. I was speaking with one other person staying at the hotel and she stated she was checking out early due to the hotel being “gross” and we followed suit. We decided to check out a day early because we, including my dog, were uncomfortable. We also got scammed out of a $40 pizza by a pizza place that the hotel advertises on their front counter. Pizza was never delivered but said it was. Bottom line… I have stayed at many hotels and this one was a huge disappointment. We were also offered breakfast and when we went down to the breakfast it was even more insane. The waffle batter was spread all over the counter, the cheesy rice or hash browns (I couldn’t tell) had been torn into and no one in the hotel was coming in to tend to the area. It literally looked like kids had gone down there to play in the food. We were willing to risk it all in this ice storm to leave this hotel. Also, if you are going to allow animals in your hotel please get some type of receptacle outside to put poop in. By the end of the night there was so much dog poop and pee outside in front of the hotel we couldn’t even walk to take our dog out without risking stepping in another dogs poop and pee. And if you are going to have someone coming in to play the sax, please let him know to not come up to the guests of your hotel and say “can I give you some unsolicited advice!” I immediately answered no but the fact that he even came up to us was rude and inappropriate.
