The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located along the River Walk, making it easy to enjoy the city's attractions and restaurants. One of the highlights of my stay was the spa experience. I had the pleasure of being treated by Amanda, and she was exceptional. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and calming presence made for an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Amanda took the time to ensure I was comfortable and provided one of the best spa treatments I've had. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was both elegant and welcoming. Whether you're visiting for business, ministry, or leisure, Hotel Contessa offers a comfortable and memorable experience. I highly recommend Hotel Contessa, and if you visit the spa, be sure to ask for Amanda—you won't be disappointed!
Emily Reynolds Bergha month agoHotel Contessa was one of the highlights of my trip to San Antonio. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are incredibly cozy, and the food exceeded my expectations. It’s one of those places that feels like a local favorite while still offering a luxury experience. The spa is a must-visit, and Sahira gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She has an intuitive, calming approach that immediately puts you at ease. I walked out feeling relaxed, refreshed, and genuinely better than when I arrived. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great hospitality, excellent dining, and an outstanding spa experience, Hotel Contessa is an easy recommendation. I’ll definitely be back.
Loghen Christynea month agoFrancisco at Ambler in Hotel Contessa was absolutely incredible. He has the kind of energy that completely elevates the whole dining experience. From the moment he came to our table, he made us laugh, smile, and feel genuinely welcomed. He does not just serve your table, he brings his whole personality with him in the best way. He was attentive, funny, warm, and made the meal feel memorable instead of just routine. Francisco is the kind of waiter who makes you want to come back, not just for the food, but because the experience was that good. If you dine at Ambler, ask for Francisco. He is truly a standout.
Ericka4 months agoWe really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Contessa. Everyone was very welcome and the hotel was very clean. Our room was amazing! We enjoyed hanging out in the living room and watching TV. There was so much space. We also loved the view from our room and it had easy access to the River walk. We felt very safe and will return again.
rik hambrighta month agoFrancisco provided outstanding service! We had him as our waiter two mornings in a row, and he made each breakfast a wonderful experience. He was always on time, attentive, friendly, and never missed a beat. Everything was handled professionally from start to finish.
