Katelyn Robbinsa month agoChecked in later in the evening. Rain at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I was in my room for about an hour and the temperature had not gone down. It was 78 in the room with the thermostat set to 65. It went up a degree in the time I called down to guest services. I ended up walking down there and Rain was able to get me moved to another room right away. A maintenance man was sent up but I had to be up very early for a flight and they accommodated. Otherwise the room has been very clean and spacious. Will stay here again if I’m in the area. Thanks again, Rain!
Alan Labisch2 months agoEverything about this place is quite good. Location wise it has easy access to the light rail blue line and is very close to the airport and mall. Hotel and restaurant staff were nice. The bed, shower, and room cleanliness were all good. The room I stayed in has a mini fridge but no microwave, which I was fine with. The tap water in the sink was fine for drinking. There is a small pool and solid workout area for guests. I recommend the walleye sandwich if you eat at the hotel restaurant. I will be back.
Jaden Ghylina month agoThe hotel is pretty new and nice. My main issue is the thermostat in the room. It seems like they are trying to save energy by not allowing you to cool the room. I like to sleep with a cold room and most hotels can achieve this. This one at 65 degrees feels like 72. If you don't care about sleeping in a cool room this is a great hotel.
Dominic Smith4 months agoUsually I stay at more moderately priced properties and I was bit disappointed at this Hyatt property. First impressions weren't great as the was not easy access from the parking lot to the entrance. The main entrance is completely on the other side of the building and the parking was not clear from ice and snow making my elderly parents climb over snow mounds. The rooms were nice but I would prefer a more comfy cozy environment then the sleek modern look. One positive was plenty of hot water beware if your sharing a room and using the facilities there is no bathroom exhaust fan. The biggest shock was no microwave in the room. I also was not one of the lucky even number floors yo have ice on our level. So to use a microve or get ice we had to go up floor to one one unit serving about 100 rooms every two floors. The fitness center was nice however the pool quite small with no hot tub. The restaurant was not impressive so we went down the streets to eat at the Embassy Suites. We were shocked to find a much nicer hotel with great food which we ended up going to every night for our dinners. Next time in the twin cities we will just stay there.
Matt Herrmann5 months agoI’ve stayed in many very nice Hyatt Regencies…. this location unfortunately falls short. A hotel that claims to be 4 stars yet won’t service your room unless you stay for 4 nights. Checked in on Sunday, check out Wednesday, room was cleaned/serviced a grand total of 0 times. This was never mentioned during check-in, I was only informed of the policy on the last night of my stay, when I called the front desk surprised that my room still had not been cleaned. That’s not even Courtyard or Fairfield level of service. There are many better options in this area with better service at a substantial discount.
