Room is fine for the low price. On our first full day when we came back there was no housekeeping. We got in very late at night but the parking lot was completely full. We had to park on a driveway. The hotel deserves 3 stars. But we were very happy with their free cookies. They were so good! The cookies bumped up their score to 4 stars.
I found to be fantastic. Service upon check in or valet or bar was superb. I saw mostly all of it remodeled. Great location. Easy in and out parking for a fee. I did have a problem with my room AC that was solved within 1 hr. Overall excellent value compared to similar hotels in similar location.
Our stay had a few challenges, especially with cleanliness on arrival and inconsistent housekeeping during our 5-night visit for me and my friend. Communication with management also took a bit longer than expected when we raised concerns. That said, the location was great and the overall atmosphere was really nice. We still had some enjoyable moments during our stay. With a bit more attention to cleanliness, consistency, and responsiveness, this hotel could be even better.
Beware of assuming it is as it looks...Very slow check in and out process. You have to guide them and they still mess up. My company sent authorization 3 times a month before my arrival and after the 2nd time they confirmed. When I arrived it was not in the system. I had a copy and showed the authorization and they checked me in. I checked my card for incidental and they put the complete bill on my card without permission. No one seems to know what they are doing! My room had a/c constantly on and I froze for two nights before they fixed it. My first night i looked at the sheets and it was an unknown stain. I asked that they bring more sheets and clean the room in the morning. Cleaning staff made up the bed with the same sheets...I was furious. Spoke with staff that wrote all my issues and they finally cleaned the room my final night at the location. No concessions or apologies for incompetence. I should have ran when I was checking in and the inspector was there to question the manager on a complaint and violation. The place has potential, but is run by people that do not care. I was therefor a conference and am a vegetarian. My lunch and dinner was alway the same. Some cooked 3 types of bellpepper and one slice of squash and put it on a hard piece of bread. Utterly disgusting! Great place to go if you want to starve, freeze and get yourcard charge due to inappropriate billing.
I was very pleased with this hotel. On past trips to Disney; I've stayed in high end hotels that were in walking distance from the park, but I wanted to try something different this time. Hotel Fera was reasonably priced and a quick Uber ride to Disney. The hotel is modern with a luxury feel without the luxury price tag. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I had everything that I needed. I almost didn't stay here after reading some of the bad reviews, but I honestly feel like the bad reviews aren't warranted. The walls are a bit thin, so I did hear a little noise from a neighboring room, but overall the hotel was quiet and calm.
