  We arrived early after a long international flight and were happy to find that we were able to check in early without additional fees. The reception staff were easy to speak with although not overly friendly or welcoming, we needed to ask several varying questions to get the basic information we needed regarding our stay. Nowhere in my booking or fine print did it say there would be $200 hold on my credit card which wouldn’t be released for 3-5 business days- this came as a suprise and impacted our available funds during our stay as we hadn’t budgeted for the extra fee / hold. Our room was larger than expected which was great as we are travelling with our 20 yr old daughter and were concerned the room would be too small. The bathroom was a good size and the fact there was a bath tub was awesome - especially after long days at Disney when you just want to relax and soak your tired and sore feet. We were surprised the there was NO HOUSE KEEPING at all during our stay, we have never encountered this anywhere across the world when travelling. We had to remove our rubbish and put it in a communal bin near the lifts as it was never removed over our 4 nights, we also had to request clean towels, toilet paper and more paper cups for our coffee. We asked the front desk and they obliged but it felt like we were an inconvenience to them for asking. The location of the hotel is fantastic, we did walk to Downtown Disney one night which took around 20 minutes, you can also catch the courtesy bus to the parks which leave regularly all day from 7am until 11:15pm. We were able to go back to the hotel late in the afternoon to change into warmer clothes and head back to the parks for the night, we were also able to go across the road and have a late dinner quickly before returning to the bus stop and getting one of the last buses back. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but feel it needs to be disclosed about the hold payments as not everyone can afford to not have access to their funds for the length of their stay plus a few extra days after checkout. Most of the front desk staff seemed helpful, but the one lady who served us several times seemed miserable and made us feel we were inconveniencing her by asking questions or making basic requests.

  Wonderful hotel to stay with children. The Disneyland shuttle is an amazing time saver. The restaurants at the hotel have great service and delicious food. Fast check in and a wonderful lobby. Can watch the Disneyland fireworks from the pool area too. The only thing I would like to add is the ability to use my streaming services on the tv in the room. Will definitely stay here again on our next Disneyland visit. Highly recommend

  We’ve stayed here almost every time we go to Disneyland now. This last time was the best, Adam at the front desk and Christine in the Cafe made everything great and personable. Adam was insanely helpful and friendly, ensuing everything was taken care of for us at the hotel. Staying on the first floor imo is the best however just because the elevators are small and hard to fit a family and stroller in together. We usually just bring the stroller and one adult, while the others climb the stairs or wait for the elevator to return as one is generally out or service. Housekeeping generally only happens if you are in the room when they knock on your door or you request it. I don’t mind that personally, but just as a tip for those who stay here. The cafe food is expensive but it’s good and convenient if you don’t want to eat at the Parks. They have handicap friendly shuttles (that you have to call ahead for so they know they need that shuttle) and the shuttles are absolute life savers when you either need a break mid day, forgot something and didn’t realize until you’re at the park, or you stay late and the party is tired. The shuttle drives either have a wonderful personality or none at all. Doesn’t seem like there’s an in between. They used to use your room key as proof to board the shuttle, now they use purple wrist bands which are uncomfortable and extras after you check in are $15/each. My suggestion is get extras upfront so you have them (don’t pay for them when you check in) and attach them to whatever bag/stroller you have. They don’t need to be on a wrist, just shown as proof that you’re a guest there. Overall, anytime we make a plan for Disneyland, the Majestic Garden hotel is always part of that plan.

  WiFi is the worth! the furniture is extremely old it has an old smell when you walk into the lobby kinda like a dust smell it’s my first time coming to Disney land and I wish I wouldve chose a better hotel this experience wasn’t the best only positive thing is it’s close to Disneyland and the shuttles are provided other then that I wouldn’t book this hotel again there are PLENTY OF HOTELS NEAR BY that looked way better interior wise and exterior wise this hotel is pretty on the outside but once you get to the rooms you see the west and tear

  I’d rate my stay at Majestic Gardens a solid C, maybe even a C-. There were a few positives, but several issues made the experience underwhelming. First, there’s a $200 hold on a debit card that wasn’t clearly disclosed during booking. On top of that, daily parking fees are deducted from that deposit, which feels a bit misleading if you’re not expecting it. The room itself had some noticeable wear and tear. The bathtub looked permanently stained from heavy use and cleaning, and the air conditioning only worked on one setting..very cold. The refrigerator didn’t function properly, which caused some of our food to spoil. Beds were decent, but nothing standout. To their credit, management did make a small effort to address issues, they replaced the fridge and removed two days of parking charges. There’s also mention of an ongoing refinishing project, though there doesn’t seem to be a clear timeline for completion. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location and the Disney shuttle, which made getting around convenient. Overall, it’s an average stay at best. If you’re mainly looking for convenience to the parks, it might work…but don’t expect much beyond that.
