Lanyon Ted3 months agoI had a genuinely great experience at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Minneapolis–Downtown. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the Minneapolis Convention Center, which made getting around incredibly easy. The area feels lively and convenient, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of downtown. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was spacious, and everything felt well‑maintained. I also appreciated the free Wi‑Fi and the little in‑room touches that made the stay feel smooth and stress‑free. Breakfast was a solid highlight. The selection was good, everything was fresh, and it made starting the day a lot easier. The staff kept things stocked and the dining area clean, which I always appreciate. The team at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and check‑in was quick. Even though parking is limited on‑site, the nearby garage options made it easy enough. Overall, this hotel delivered exactly what I needed: comfort, convenience, and great value. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Minneapolis.
Brian Andersona month agoThis place isn't bad. It worked fine for us. It's kind of on the edge of downtown, but not so far out that you can't walk if you want, or take a short Uber ride to wherever you're going. The only thing I didn't like about our room was the bottom of the bathtub. Like...it wasn't flat or something. It seemed too arched so when you're standing there taking a shower, it's almost like you're balancing on a skateboard. I know that's kind of an odd criticism, but if you were to stand in it yourself you would know what I mean. Anyway, other than that it wasn't bad. The front desk people were friendly and the rooms seemed clean. Good for a place to spend the night if you don't need fancy.
J La month agoBUDGET HOTEL DREAM This hotel is obviously well managed. It is clean, staff are friendly/attentive, and rooms are well-appointed. We booked through Costco and got a smokin deal. Parking is $20 a night and easy in/out.
Richard Olson6 months agoStaff were great and friendly, location is convenient, parking was easy, check in parking was a bit difficult being there is no place to park while checking in other then street down the road. Breakfast was dissapointing, used to pork sausage at holiday inns but the turkey sausage was bad tasting. Potatoes were the best part, pancake machine was having issues at first. Overall good plave to stop for overnight stay, had trouble sleeping though, thin walls and sounds from outside kept me up all night
Kandi Jensona month agoRooms are not sound proof. Lots of bumping around heard all day and night. Parking was easy around it though. And the rooms were pretty nice.
