I honestly can’t rate the rooms because I only attended an event here. First let me say that the staff at this hotel is amazingly attentive and kind. Sally was our waitstaff and she never missed an opportunity to provide excellent service. The bartenders also were exceptionally kind and fun! I attended a fundraising event and it was beautifully done. Even the Valet was kind and courteous as I exited the event and I didn’t even use their service.. it’s a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. My daughter attends school a few blocks away so I know the area well.
So this hotel has been amazing The staff is super friendly. Rooms clean and decent size. Ice machines perfectly located on every floor next to elevators Sky walkway to the convention center. But the Bar in the Lobby Sam was absolutely fantastic! So personable but not fake nice. Very attentive which I know it's his job but I would stay here again for Sam the bartender alone and the front desk staff.
I traveled to the Hilton Minneapolis during the first week of May 2026 while attending a conference, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel was conveniently located just a short 9-mile ride from the airport and sits in the heart of downtown Minneapolis in a very walkable area. One of my favorite surprises was the unique collectible bookstore directly across the street. The city itself is incredibly e-bike friendly, with Lime bikes and scooters everywhere. I highly recommend taking a short ride down to the riverfront — it was one of the highlights of the trip. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and my room on the 22nd floor offered a commanding view of the city with virtually no street noise. After arriving, I had lunch at the hotel bar and thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and meatballs. While coffee was available in the room each morning, I found myself preferring the Starbucks located in the lobby market. A special thank you to Kate at the front desk for helping me select a room with such an incredible view, and to the housekeeping team for keeping everything spotless throughout my stay. After three wonderful days, I left with a fantastic impression of both the hotel and the city. I will absolutely be back!
Five star stay!! We stayed in Minneapolis for a convention in this hotel & was pleased from when we arrived, the entire time & when we left! It’s a massive Hilton with an impressive 25 floors. We stayed on the top floor. Beautiful large lobby with great natural light. Hotel amenities: 5/5 - On the 2nd floor, it offered a nice sized pool & nice gym & sauna (first hotel in awhile that has more than just dumbells. Actually had weight training equipment to get a decent work out in) All of the ballrooms / conference rooms we used during the convention were always clean & organized nice even with the large amount of people staying here. Lobby / floor bathrooms were spotless clean at all times. Room: 5/5 - Our room had the most STUNNING city view. Great to watch sunset from. Decent king bed. Large walk in shower. The typical desk set up/extra sofa chair in the room. Room was very clean when we arrived which is always appreciated. Parking: 5/5 - They offer a large attached parking garage. It was very easy to navigate during our week stay. You can purchase a in & out pass for about $100 for the entire week. Allows you to come & go from garage with an easy ticket scan coming & going. Each floor had an easy sign to follow to the elevators which brought you back up to the lobby. Made our trip super flawless to come & go from our hotel during the days- and an easy return back to park at the end of the day. We just saved the parking garage address pin on our Google Maps & returned back to the garage after our day exploring with our car. Even during a large convention (I think the entire hotel was booked out) we always found parking between floors 1-3. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton in the downtown. The hotel was clean from our room to the entire hotel. Hotel gym was great to use and the entire parking garage experience made the stay even easier! Super bonus for the amazing room view on the 25th floor!
I was helped by Ash at the hilton front desk last evening with my room. What a pro. I travel a lot for work. See a lot of hotels. Most customer service is decent. Some are better at others with interpersonal skills and have more of an energy than others. Ash left a lasting impression with not only her professionalism and customer service; but her ability to converse with people. Top notch service at this Hilton in Minneapolis. Take notes from Ash. World class service. Get this person in management, stat. 10/10.
