  This place had been recommended. Now I'm recommending to you! They TRULY have THE BEST customer service i have ever experienced with a hotel. It's clean, warm and inviting, rooms are clean, updated and the bar and food..o.m.g.! Amazing. I sat at the bar just watching the bartender making all sorts of drinks. My hubby was hospitalized in the area and they truly helped take care of me. My shuttle driver who took me to the hospital picked me up, remembered to ask how he was doing, I told him I had to get home with a pending snow storm and when we got back, I gathered my stuff, came down to check out and he had my car out front warmed up and ready to go for me. He loaded my luggage and wished us both much luck with a warm smile. The gal at the front desk knew i was in a hurry and knew exactly what she was doing and I was out in no time at all! Thank you Hilton Garden! I'm definitely coming back under better circumstances!!

  We walked into the lobby and I thought oh yeah this is nice, until we got up to our room. Very small. The bathroom was nothing to run home to. The toilet had to be flushed twice to work. There was hair in the sink. Outdated. Our room reeked of weed. Wont be coming back when I know how the other Hilton is.**no parking lot here. And lastly $20 for breakfast…

  Breakfast is slightly higher quality than your average hotel, but it's not free. No issues with hearing neighbors through the walls, and the small issues we had were addressed kindly by the front desk. Police station across the street, not sure if that increases or decreases the amounts of sirens you hear.

  Parking is abysmal, even called ahead and was given incorrect information about the parking at this hotel. That being said, staff was kind and courteous. Room was large and clean. Just prepare for expensive parking or a nearby ramp.

  I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, there was no longer valet parking available, and I was forced to park about a block and a half away, which was inconvenient—especially with luggage. Things didn’t improve once I got to my room. When I turned on the shower, black debris came out of the shower head, which was both alarming and unacceptable. The breakfast situation was also frustrating. What appeared to be a continental breakfast was actually $15, which felt misleading. On top of that, the juice dispenser wasn’t working, there were no scrambled eggs left, and all five ketchup bottles were empty. It felt poorly managed and not worth the cost. To make matters worse, I was told that one breakfast charge would be removed from my bill, but it never was. When I brought it up again at checkout, the front desk staff assured me it would be taken care of—yet it still wasn’t. When in parking ramp, someone who had been fortunate enough to get valet parking, was fuming because her van had a flat tire after being parked. Overall, the experience felt more like staying at a budget motel than a Hilton property. Customer service was lacking, and it genuinely felt like guest satisfaction was not a priority. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.
