  I have stayed at this hotel many times while traveling for work, and I’ve generally had good experiences. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. I discovered a large cockroach crawling on the curtains in my room. I took a picture and went to the front desk to report it. I informed the front desk associate that I had a photo and even asked if she would like to see it, but she declined. I requested a different room, and she moved me to the room next door. I then asked if I could be moved a little farther away from the affected room, as I was uncomfortable staying adjacent to a room where I had found a roach. She appeared irritated by the request. I explained that I was not trying to be difficult, and she responded, “Yes, you are.” Perhaps she intended it as a joke, but there was no indication that she was joking—she did not smile or clarify her comment, and instead seemed inconvenienced that I did not want to remain near a room with a pest issue. After this experience, I will likely look for another hotel in the area for future work trips.

  Decent spot for a quick overnight stay. The room was clean, though it had a stale odor, and the front desk experience wasn’t very welcoming. On the plus side, breakfast offered plenty of options and the gym was nice.

  Like most reviews, this is extremely subjective and based off of my own experience here. Rooms: Pretty mediocre, I wish I had better things to say. The place is a bit dated, and seems to lack general cleanliness. Upon arrival, I inspected my room and found stains on an office chair, as well as dirt, grime, and potentially dried up bodily fluids in the bathroom. Additionally, in the showers the paint was flaking off the ceiling and in terms of the showerhead, there was virtually no water pressure it just seemed to be dribbling out. You could get better water pressure if you just poured water on yourself from a water bottle. Thankfully, the beds were fine in terms of cleanliness. We were able to get another room, which was better, but still had that unkemptness and odor, nonetheless, I spent the night because it was too late and I was too tired to go anywhere else. This is not particular to the room that I in, But the hotel is very close to a highway, so you get a good amount of road noise even if You get placed in a room that seems far from the road. Despite all this, the shampoo and conditioner were good. Service: No complaints here, the front desk staff was very nice and willing to help. They switched us rooms without any issues. Other: When walking throughout the hallways, I noticed that the carpeted panels on the floor were loose and improperly aligned, that could be a tripping hazard. The breakfast was fine, just a very small selection and no waffle maker. Unfortunately, the coffee was atrocious. Lastly, it may not be an issue to some, but the hot tub was broken during my stay, and it seemed like there were no efforts to fix it, and that it’s been broken for a long time. I know, not all of you are super interested in having a hot tub in a hotel, But if I go out of my way to look for a hotel that has a hot tub, I would really expect to use it. This place is overpriced, and there is a lot of work to be done. This is not the same Fairfield that I thought it was.

  I’m not one to complain or even leave reviews but there are a few issues at this place that need to be addressed. Our room was nice and comfortable but the toilet was extremely loose and felt like it was going to tip over. Also the shower faucet was loose. The pool smelled moldy. In the morning on 01/04 when we were checking out the front desk manager was wearing headphones which was extremely unprofessional.

  I used points for my stay and they charged a $60 hold for something and an additional $20 for a deposit. I'm a platinum member. I have never experienced these additional charges. They claim I'll get it back immediately after I check out.
