  Fairfield Inn & Suites - Wichita, KS (Downtown) This property accounts for more than 40% of my annual hotel stays. Though, I’ve only been staying here for the last 3 years.. it is hands-down the best-run property I’ve ever stayed at—at any brand or level—thanks to an exceptional General Manager, Nic. While I’m clearly a valued regular, the experience here goes far beyond what’s typical for a Fairfield. Every single employee reflects the same care, pride, and attention to detail that the GM sets as the standard. Guests are treated like family—and regulars even more so. I honestly can’t remember a stay when I wasn’t upgraded to a suite. The thoughtful gestures are endless: To bottle waters after along day of work, extra towels, extra pillows. The list goes on and on. The staff is phenomenal! And the property is absolutely spotless, with no corners ever cut, and the breakfast spread for all guests surpasses what I’ve seen in many elite lounges. I truly can’t say enough good things about this hotel—I sometimes even miss it when I’m not here! I’m deeply grateful for how valued I am treated as a guest, how all the employees make me feel so cared for and for the relationships I’ve built with the staff, whom I genuinely consider friends.   First time here. It was dark/late so parking garage was little confusing at first. Security roaming the area was nice. Parking garage is closed off to public and need code to get in. Unload your luggage at hotel lobby before you park in the parking garage otherwise you have to carry everything. Hotel and parking garage are not connected. Took a blacklight around our room and bathroom and I was VERY impressed. Cleanest hotel i think I've ever stayed at.

  I travel often and stay in Marriott Properties almost exclusively. I use the Bonvoy app to book my hotel stays and enjoy checking in early and getting a mobile key. This visit was no different. I checked in online and requested a mobile key except I never got one and I never got a notification that I was checked in. Upon arrival to the property I had to wait at the desk and get checked in. The front desk clerk told me that this property doesn’t participate in Mobile check in and mobile key. That isn’t what Marriott says though. Parking is a mess!! You have to park in a non-attached garage that doesn’t have access to the hotel. You have to exit the garage and walk on the street to get to the front door. If you’re a Marriott member don’t expect to get any of the perks.

  I stayed here recently to attend the Jonas Brothers show at the arena a couple blocks away, and it was a great stay! Was a little farther of a walk then I thought but there is uber and the arena is still less then 1 mile away. I had a fantastic price, the breakfast area was nice and clean and had a waffle maker (the only thing I care about for breakfast at a hotel), and the beds were so soft and comfortable I wish I had that mattress! The only negative I would say is the parking garage isn’t attached to the hotel but the front desk is knowledgeable and will give you clear directions on how to use it! They encourage to check in first and then try to park. And the staff were very friendly! I also wish I brought a swimsuit to try out that swimming pool!

  The number one reason we stayed at this Marriott location is because of its proximity to the performing arts building. This location was beyond perfect. A cute 3 minute walk from the hotel front door to the Century II building. Also worth mentioning every single employee we spoke to was wonderful. I wish I remembered names to give them credit here but from check in to check out everyone was wonderful. And our room was spotless so kudos to the cleaning staff too. My only tiny disappointment would be that there was not true dairy free option for cereal or coffee. The “non dairy” creamer option listed dairy as an allergen. I just should have brought my own. Would definitely recommend!
