Shasha3 weeks agoI loved it. The rooms are huge - bigger than some studio apts in NYC. The breakfast was very generous and fresh. There is a bar in the hotel with great beer selection. There is an Asian restaurant (not directly affiliated w hotel) on top floor. The views are great; the quality of the food is ok. It’s a great location. I had no time to use the spa or pool. There were a few conferences there - ie E&Y Western Europe so it was a sophisticated crowd. Outdoor space as well. I would stay there again. I highly recommend it. That said - if someone wants concierge to take bags to room; 24 hour snack; gift shop - then it wouldn’t meet the needs.
Amir Zanjanipour2 weeks agoI had an outstanding stay at the Cardo Brussels Autograph Collection Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The room was absolutely amazing—beautifully designed, spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a perfect stay. I was pleasantly surprised with a wonderful room upgrade, which made my visit even more special. A special thank you goes to Chloe at the front desk. She was incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. Her kindness and dedication to excellent customer service truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The combination of a fantastic room, outstanding hospitality, and exceptional service made this one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I highly recommend Cardo Brussels Autograph Collection Hotel to anyone visiting Brussels, and I look forward to staying here again.
Ghassan Aljalo3 weeks agoThis hotel does not deserve even one star. It is extremely disappointing that a property operating under the Marriott brand can provide such a poor guest experience. We stayed here for four nights, and they were among the worst nights of our entire European trip. The air conditioning was not working, turning the rooms into a sauna. Despite multiple complaints, management failed to provide an effective solution. To make matters worse, one of the elevators broke down during our stay, creating even more inconvenience for guests. Housekeeping service was almost nonexistent, customer service was unprofessional, and the managers repeatedly provided misleading information and empty promises instead of addressing the real issues. I respectfully urge Marriott to investigate the conditions and management of this property. The level of service we received was far below what guests should expect from a Marriott-affiliated hotel. After four miserable nights, we genuinely felt deceived and did not receive the quality or comfort we paid for. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brussels.
L Oa month agoThe location is convenient and works well overall; however, guests should exercise caution after hours, as the area can feel somewhat unsafe once it gets dark — although this seems to be a common concern in several parts of Brussels. The metro station is located right next to the hotel, as well as the train station is just a 7 min walk which is practical, but it also attracts some less desirable activity nearby. Unfortunately, the a lady in front desk service lacked professionalism and proactive follow-up regarding requests and inquiries. This lady in particular, rolled her eyes at my husband when he politely asked for recommendations and guidance about places and areas to visit. She also added that she was unhappy about her work also told the hotel was operating with limited staff despite having many guests, which was disappointing and created confusion during our stay. On another SAFETY CONCERN we asked for a safety box and left a envelope enclosed with cash, as well as passports, and when we asked to retrieve them they did not have the keys and we have to wait 1 day more to have it open. Then when we have out envelope and passport back the enveloped was open. Terrifying!!! The positive side, the breakfast was very good, and the rooms were spacious, stylish, and comfortable. For future improvement, I would strongly recommend that employees wear visible name tags. We already shared our concerns with both the manager and Marriott, but it is difficult to properly address unprofessional behavior when there is no way to identify the staff involved. Unfortunately, if we go back wont stay there.
Sebastian Struk2 weeks agoDisappointed with the service. Booked a special rate with an upgrade upon availability plus I'm Bonvoy Gold. I was told no rooms available although they were bookable on the day. Staff didn't bother to offer anything else. Air-conditioning poor, cold at the window and much warmer in the other parts of the room. Some repairs are needed as seen in the pictures. Staff not to be seen downstairs where luggage is stored. We had to wait twice. Swimming pool crowded. I booked a slot and found no place to stay at the pool so I came back to my room.
