Very beautiful ballpark. Very easy to get in and out of. We took the light rail from Mall of America. Lots of places along the way whereyou could park and get on the light rail. They have a lot of different food saws. I got the bratwurst. They had dollar hot dogs when I was there. Everything was very clean and the people were very friendly.

Great seats. Good snacks (burgers, chicken fingers, cold drinks / soda, peanuts and ice cream. What more could you want in the Legends Landing with food included!

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today, to get through this thing called life. And on July 18, 2012, we got through part of ours by watching an Orioles versus Twins game at Target Field, which holds the #9 spot on my list of 28 ballparks visited. Final score Orioles 2, Twins 1. Maybe I'm just too demanding, maybe I'm just like my father, too bold, but I expected a Twins win. We were there because of what was happening in our lives when we visited. It was five days after my now fiancé had said “YES!” at Lake Tahoe. Her Betsy-Tacy convention in Mankato later that week had brought us to town. Speaking of which, 2,400 tons of Mankato “Kasota” limestone, a warm variety of the native stone, adorns the majority of the façade along with precast concrete and structural steel which is all contrasted by a modern glass curtain wall. The whole park is located on an 8.5 acre urban footprint, one of the tightest in the league, which forced the architectural team to cantilever the grandstands over the street and the adjacent rail lines. Game day was overcast and windy, acceptable baseball weather for April or September, but not for July. Now, overcast days never turned me on, but something about the clouds and sky mixed and we know to get our kicks; in the upper deck for the views which frame downtown Minneapolis beautifully. The iconic "Minnie and Paul" neon sign in center field, the heartbeat of the park's visual identity, was fascinating from that vantage point too. Getting there was a slow walk through the neighborhood from our hotel. But whether from the light rail station or your hotel, the walk delivers on materials and public art. Make sure you find Jen Lewin’s Sidewalk Harp, a 40-foot stainless steel installation at the North corner of N. 5th Ave. and N. 5th Street. Wave your hands beneath the glowing LED lights colored purple (rain), (baby) blue, raspberry (beret), (kelly) green, and (snow) white while each one produces a distinct musical tone. We discovered it on October 8, 2025, our second wedding anniversary visit, because it was installed in 2015. During our 2012 visit, my fiancé walked in through the out door, out door, and over a hopscotch mural during the walk, the correct response to good public art. Now, as an energy code professional, LEED Platinum demands its own paragraph. A 38,544-seat venue making the sustainability argument in public, in plain language, to people who came for baseball. That's exactly how it should work. Target Field opened LEED Silver in 2010, then they said let’s go crazy and hit Platinum in 2022, the first MLB stadium ever to earn the distinction. What I respect most is that they didn't bury it in a press release, they showcase cool exhibits putting this in front of fans who'd otherwise never know. Because over 20 million gallons of rainwater are captured and reused, more than 99% of waste is diverted from landfills, and surplus food is donated to local charities. Speaking of food, locals say the Kramarczuk’s polish sausage loaded with onions and sauerkraut is the way to go here. Be sure to act your age, mama, not your shoe size and don't put that red sugar-water on a perfectly good sausage! I hope the Twins have a great season soon, because there ain't no particular team I'm more compatible with, I just want extra innings and a championship! Then, the Twin Cities can party like it's 1991, the last time they won it all with Kirby Puckett and friends.

I have attended several events and games at Target Field now - including a concert and multiple baseball games. I have to say, while it isn't my favorite venue - it's definitely up there. The facilities are great overall, very clean and well managed. The tickets for baseball games are also very cheap in my experience. I'm a big fan of the food selection - my favorite as of now being Official Fried Chicken in center field. I've sat all around the stadium and haven't found a bad seat in the house. However if you're near a drain, the flies are rough during the daytime. All of the staff I've dealt with have been very friendly and informational/helpful. The parking situation is great too - the best option being the ABC Ramps - Ramp B which is connected to a covered skyway that allows you to walk straight to the Target Center or Target Field out of the weather (entrance to Target Field is outdoors). Overall, Target Field is a great stadium for baseball and concerts and is the perfect place to spend a summer night with the fellas.

My last two experiences at Target field. One was last year, at the end of the season for my friend’s Birthday. The cameraman comes near me for the song on the Jumbotron. I make it onto the Jumbotron to end the song and the baseball action continues. My next experience just happened on Saturday, 19 April against the Reds for my friends 30th Birthday! I was unsure which exact bar my group of friends was at. I just knew that it was behind home plate and maybe on the third floor being lost. I asked for help from a helpful attendant on the third floor concourse. This friendly attendance name was Alan, I believe his name was. Alan stated that he was a little bit newer, but I proceeded to ask my question of where he thinks this location of the bar might be Alan was able to direct me directly to the bar, which was a great deal of help as I was running late and wanted to catch some good baseball action. The twins ended up not winning either of these baseball games but with good groups of friends and a great atmosphere I was able to enjoy two of my great friends, birthdays, and some great baseball thank you Target field, and the twins staff players and most importantly the fans. We’re Twins Territory!
