Upon arrival, I was checked into the suite that I had reserved, however, once I got to the room it was already occupied. This could have gone bad but instead Daniel and desk staff made sure to make it right and got us a different room to match our needs. Dinner at Normandy and had wonderful service and a great vibe that feels like a real French Street Cafe. Courtyard pool area is a charming throwback to the era of themed hotels. Common areas are vintage elegance and ample for some some hang time.

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary here. The staff were super friendly and helpful; they were also more than happy to take pictures of us when we asked no matter the time of day. I missed the name of the woman who checked us in and out, but I remember we were also helped by Daniel and Patrick. We got a double queen bed room that was poolside and came with a couch. The nightly cookies and milk at 10pm were a delicious treat.

My friends and I stayed here for a night and we had the best time ever! All the staff was so sweet and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed, pool room and hot tub were amazing. All around a very nice place and we will be staying here when we’re in downtown Minneapolis!

When we come back to Minneapolis we will definitely be staying here! The ladies at the front desk were friendly and amazing. The pool was warm and not crowded. Sauna takes awhile to heat up but worth it. The whole pool area is very cool and well kept. Our room was clean and inviting, and the bathroom was spacious. The hallways downstairs are filled with memorabilia and historical stuff. The building has such a unique style! We were so happy we chose to stay here and still laugh about how the Best Western in Minneapolis is the best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time! We will be back.

My husband and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the pool area. The hotel is historic but updated—it keeps its charm without feeling too "old." (Although the rooms could benefit with replacing the carpeting) It felt classy the entire time we were there, and people seemed to really enjoy gathering around the fireplace in the lobby. They have coffee and water in the lobby, but I think my favorite thing was the water pitcher provided in the room. There are water machines in the hallways, which is the most eco-friendly thing I’ve ever seen at a hotel, especially in a downtown area. Also, the hot tub was the perfect temperature for relaxing!
