  I would not recommend staying at the Best Western Plus Strongsville Cleveland unless major improvements are made. The hotel has potential because the location is convenient and the breakfast was decent, but the overall experience did not match what I expected from a Best Western Plus. The biggest issue was that the property felt poorly maintained. Common areas looked worn down, and there were noticeable problems that made the hotel feel neglected rather than simply “older.” Several parts of the hotel seemed like they needed repairs or better upkeep, and the overall condition of the building made the stay uncomfortable. Cleanliness was also disappointing. A hotel does not need to be luxury-level to be acceptable, but the room and bathroom should feel fully clean and ready for guests. Instead, the stay felt like corners were being cut. Basic things like housekeeping, towels, room supplies, and general attention to detail should not be something guests have to repeatedly ask for. The customer service was inconsistent as well. Some staff members were polite, but follow-through was lacking. When guests bring up issues, the response should be prompt and helpful, not brushed off or left unresolved. It felt like the hotel was understaffed or poorly managed, which made every issue more frustrating. I understand that hotels can have maintenance problems or busy days, but when cleanliness, repairs, amenities, and service all fall short at the same time, it becomes hard to justify the stay. This hotel needs better management, more consistent housekeeping, and serious attention to maintenance before I would consider returning.

  I had an excellent 2 day stay at the best Western in Strongsville. The room was super clean inside and out extremely quiet. No hotel is going to be absolutely perfect. There is going to be some flaws but honestly, it’s a decent hotel Strongsville Police Department also does random patrols so it’s definitely safe in the parking lot as big as it is but overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Stayed here this past weekend for a wedding - check-in process was smooth, although I didn't have a room ready for me when I checked in, but no big deal there. They only had one working elevator next to the check in desk, and sadly my room was at the complete far end of the hotel. When I got to my room later in the evening, it was clean. However, the bathroom was something. My light switch in the bathroom had to be pulled to the left and then flipped up to turn the lights on because it was bent so far to the right. The shower does not drain very well, and the tub was halfway filled with water within 3 minutes of the water running. And the towel rack was inside the shower, so you have to maneuver your way in without hitting your head. Breakfast was good in my opinion. The hotel themselves can't help this, but there was a billiards tournament going on in the conference center while we were staying here for the wedding, and the whole place just reeked of cigarette smoke and pot. All in all, I felt our stay was just about worth the price of admission.

  Believe the reviews. We booked this location due to an event we had in the area and we were hauling an enclosed car trailer and needed a place with a rather large lot to accommodate it. The lobby was clean and seemed promising. Check in with Monica was easy and she was very friendly. Our bed was surprisingly comfortable. That’s about where our pleasant experience ended. Our room was awkwardly large, the tv was 30 feet from the bed making it impossible to hear the tv unless the volume was at a ridiculous level. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. Paint was peeling all over the ceiling, the ceiling above the shower had visible black mold. I begrudgingly HAD to take a shower, and the drain was extremely slow leaving me to stand in 2” of water. Ok fine, not the end of the world. The worst part was the fire alarm going off both Friday and Saturday nights randomly between midnight and two AM. My husband called the front desk Saturday night and was told (rather rudely) that “it was the laundry room alarm and someone must’ve left the door open. There’s nothing we can do sir, people are allowed to do their laundry”. Ok. I agree. But maybe have laundry hours? Maybe don’t have an obnoxious alarm that wakes the entire hotel? I don’t buy it. I will try to attach photos of the room and videos of the alarm- don’t tell me it’s not a fire alarm. Believe the reviews. It’s not the absolute worst, but it’s definitely far from being worthy of a place you’d pay to stay.

  This place was everything we were looking for and more. Reasonable rates, clean rooms, nice pool, super friendly staff, close to so many things, excellent breakfast, safe parking place and coffee in the room (a must have). My great niece and I came here to shop at Strongsville mall and ended up booking the room for a extra night since the room was so nice and beds so comfy! Highly recommend this hotel
