Tanya Islanda week agoThis property is one of the best Marriotts I have ever stayed at, and I am a 23yr business traveler. The staff are helpful, professional and attentive. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. The dining options are fresh and delicious. Analy and the entire morning shift in the breakfast area literally makes every guest feel so welcomed, and she remembers drink orders like you are a regular. The M lounge is wonderful for daytime zoom meetings, all day fresh coffee, snacks, and filtered water. The major benefit for the business traveler is the laundry self- service area, with free machines that already are plumbed to receive soap automatically. This literally is a huge bonus! The gym was stellar, and the indoor-outdoor pool is large enough for both adults and kids to enjoy. My one suggested area of improvement would be in housekeeping; they did not sweep floors or provide extra toilet paper during my towel refresh or once weekly cleaning service. This was so minor of a detail compared to how well the overall experience was. I felt very comfortable, safe and rested at this hotel -- keep up the outstanding work!
Sophia Elliott3 months agoFound the additional costs shocking and unreasonable for Marriott hotels. Marriott lobby has starbucks coffee at an additional cost $3+. Marriott provides a breakfast bar at an additional cost $16 per person. Marriott parking is an additional $16 per night. The breakfast consists of bag boiled scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, waffle station, yogurt, fruit, bagels and some cereal items. Buffet dishes are paper plates, plastic utensils, small paper juice cups. We assumed Marriott was a well known brand, for cost of single night stay breakfast should be a complimentary service, coffee should be available in lobby free of cost. Parking was a small unsecured lot behind the hotel. These additional costs although optional should be included like Marriott competitors. This isn't a Holiday Inn, Sleep Inn, Best Western etc. Those mentioned offer a complimentary breakfast, do not charge for coffee nor charge for parking. Overall room accomodations were alright. Disappointing that we booked our room for 3, only 2 towels in the room. Pillows offer no support even when doubled up. We left a phone charger, went back a day after, there did not seem to be a standard lost and found. We left empty handed on that front. Personally I expected more from Marriott. Will not be returning.
Cerina Brandt4 months agoI absolutely adore this restaurant inside the Wichita Marriott! I’ve ate here many times for conferences and have placed my to go orders just cause the food is so good! The lady at the bar is so sweet and even provided us water while we waited for our to go order. The food is so good too! I got the chicken quesadilla and it is LOADED with goodies! I 10/10 recommend! The staff is very kind and welcoming and the overall experience is great for a hotel!
Kelli Copeland5 months agoVery nice venue to have a rehearsal dinner. The hotel has been recently renovated. Jessica was so helpful and accommodating for catering and set up the day of our event. The staff was very kind to us. The owner of the hotel even stopped by to say hi and make sure everything was ok. We reserved one of the banquet rooms. Our food was delicious! Highly recommend The Wichita Marriott for your next event.
Paul Rangel5 months agoMe and my family had a great stay here. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. We accidentally forgot a new shirt we just bought back in the room and they offered to have it shipped via FedEx but luckily we were just about to leave town so we were able to go get it. Everything about this stay was great! The pool was nice as well.
