Julie Parksa month agoWe rented this venue for a large family gathering and catered food in. They are in a great location downtown with ample parking. It’s a nice open area upstairs with both stairs and elevator access. A very large wrap around balcony provides outdoor space as well. They provided and set up the tables and chairs that we needed, and everything was ready as soon as we got there.

This location is a historical building that has been refurbished as a Kansas hall of fame of athletic Greatness for past Kansas Athletes, whether college or professional. This buildings vintage feel is an excellent venue available for rent/lease for any event whether personal on professional.
Angie Webb7 months agoWe rented the Boathouse for our wedding venue and they didn't even make sure it was clean on the outside or inside until we did our rehearsal, it was bad. They only cleaned a little when we made it a big deal! The guy who originally showed it to us said everything would be clean. Otherwise it's a beautiful place. The woman who took over for the guy was a real snob until she met me in person.
Monika Jonesa month agoIts a nice venue. However, the events that have been thrown here in the past 2 months have been disappointing. i.e. tacos and tequila and the 2nd final friday.
Thad B6 years agoThis was the scene of Run In the New Year for the hangover running series. What a great space and great time! I also did not know it is the Kansas sports hall of fame which is really neat to see.
