  absolutely loved my stay here, i had such a great experience with Jordan! she was the best. as well as Mercedes! the breakfast is fresh and hot! the rooms are so clean, and the area is fantastic. definitely will be visiting again!

  I booked my reservation months ago. Checked in through the app a day in advance with an after 6pm arrival. Morning of reservation I got a notification that my card wasnt going through because of expiration date. I thought I had put my new expiration date in. I go on the app and website to try and update but it wont let me. So I go on the chat feature and let them know. Whoever on the chat said its fine, just update it when you get to the hotel to get your room key. Get on my flight, land around 6:30 and the first notification I get is my room has been canceled. As soon as I got off the plane I called the hotel. They said, we auto cancel reservations if you dont check in before 6pm or let us know you'll be after 6pm. I told them I had done the checkin the night before and said after 6pm. She calls the manager and he tells her, no its because we're sold out. I told her well you're lying because I can go on Hilton.com and book a room for 6 nights (like my reservation). She tells me I must be on some other website and not Hilton's because there's no way. I tell her its unacceptable to cancel my room, that hotel standard is my reservation gets walked to another hotel nearby and they honor my rate. She calls her manager back and he tells her, still no, he wont do anything about it, now its because my card declined. When I told her I tried updating the expiration date through the app and the website this morning it wouldn't let me. So I used the chat option in the app to let the front desk know. I told her the manager needed to call me because none of this is acceptable. She hung up on me and the manager has still yet to call me back. Your website does not say you have to check in by 6pm otherwise your reservation is canceled. Why is the manager refusing to address me directly and call me back? Why is it acceptable to cancel a reservation due to overbooking and not walk the reservation to a nearby hotel? According to Hilton.com, if they're overbooked, I should have been walked to a comparable hotel.

  Rooms are not very well insulated as far as soundproofing. Especially if you're put in a room right off the main street. You can even hear traffic on the actual freeway. hear every single bus, car, motorcycle. Through the drains in the bathroom you can hear people playing music and talking through the vents. Even as people walk in the hallways you can hear them very clearly. Parking situation isn't the best when trying to check in and valet there is no room to park. The breakfast was absolutely terrible doesn't seem to have enough staff to replenish things that were empty during breakfast. Location isn't bad not very far from the Riverwalk about 10 minutes walk. They really need to invest in Better Sound quality for a more quiet and peaceful rest.

  The staff was amazing. Everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful. We needed to extend our room one night and the front desk staff was able to accommodate us. Valet takes some time so request with 20-30 minutes to the time you need to leave. The valet staff was kind and worked as quick was they could. Room walls are thin and noises are heard easily. Our stay was pleasant nonetheless. Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the Riverwalk and Alamo.

  Great location for a visit to the Alamo. Our room was a nice, larger room on west side of building facing the Alamo. Had some trouble with door opening and closing, but manageable. Staff was attentive to all our extra requests and were super nice. One piece of advice is know where you are going to park as most of the hotels(downtown) are valet parking only and can be upwards of 35$ a day. Will stay again.
